      Who cares if it is only formally available in China and Vietnam, you can order it from anywhere in the world from reputable Chinese retailers. It has band 4 (1700/2100) so will work on some US carriers. Oppomart, for one, has it for only $599.

Now you can read the day's paper on the go. Remember, this is a screen as big or bigger than Amazon's kindle, yet in the total size of a phone. I can't think of anything more practical than a pocketable tablet and unless (and until) we get foldable phones, Mi Mix would be the king of portable media consumption. The only phone you can seriously read books on, without feeling tired after a while, and being able to pocket it...

            I liked Sharp's idea of bezeless phones even as they were mostly available in Japan alone. Still Xiaomi made quite many more steps forwards, it's an oversimplification to say that it is the same thing. In the same way that HTC dream was not an iPhone clone (despite the similarities).

            In short best phone from 2016 if it was not for the cameras. In fact it may well be best for 2016 as well if someone doesn't care about the shoddy cameras... that's how good of a phone it is/was ... they can be found for less than $600 (exclusive edition) so it's a short of a deal too, these days.

              I don't see how this phone will be user friendly considering it has no bezel. It might look good, no doubt but how far will it go in terms of usability? That's the real question

It's actually very loud when you touch the device to bone. Louder than any other earpiece. The loud earpiece is the reason I bough the phone (very noisy envrionment in work).

                              very nice looking but if you are looking to get this one as your PHONE then please think twice
                              the phone has so far the worst earpiece speaker ever... good luck talking to someone outside where its loud
