But know what unlike fingerprint DNA match with parents so I think it won't serve the purpose so a match of fingerprint, face and iris recognition is perfect and almost crackable. I couldn't care less. Yes, Samsung is riddled with bloatwares Ok. If you're a rooter like me you'll understand. Don't let your gullibility get the best of you. After all, someone developed these codes what says that another person won't crack it. Again, like I said, "security is paramount", so don't think I'm opting for a less secured device. Fingerprint is all security you need or maybe you want to scan your eyeball, your face and fingerprint to allow transactions to go through or tomorrow they will come up with DNA scan as well and you will jump the ship.

Security isn't a myth. It's the most important factor and Samsung if not perfect it's still better in implementing security features, the award winning knox, high grade encryption everything makes it a very secured phone. You can't ignore high security features saying someone will hack them too so I'm fine with my less secured device. I personally consider Samsung pay more secured than card payments and it is accepted on old terminals too so I don't mind giving extra 3-4 seconds for facial recognition which gives an extra layer of security.
I doubt you've an S7 edge otherwise you won't call Samsung software suite ad bloatware like those cheap Chinese brand Android users.

AnonD-270570, 17 Mar 2017Once again you are showing that you are low on balance and ... moreLol. You can't base my worth from my opinion and I ain't planning on convincing you either though. I own a v10 and an s7 edge, planning to buy Note8 when it comes out, that's if it impresses me unlike s8 which hasn't really, and when I'm in possession of it? I will only be using the fingerprint scanner and disable unnecessary bloats, unwanted apps and features. I'm also buying it because of the SPen.

I totally agree with you on your other comments. Still I feel much comfy using the fingerprint than any other means for my transactions on my phone. Even in the midst of assurance from Samsung, on the security of my personal information being out of reach to the third parties and other essential aspects, I'll still reserve my skepticism just a enough to make me not look too gullible when there are compromises. Privacy/security is a myth in this ever growing pace of science and technology.

L-Kd, 17 Mar 2017It doesn't matter if I have a good account balance or anyon... moreWhat I mean is S8 is a very powerful device and high end galaxy devices don't have these force stop problems, especially if you are using Samsung pre-installed apps. Samsung pay is a very capable app which is tested so that such troubles doesn't happen, if it has to happen, its possible with just fingerprint scanning too as it'll be an app related problem. Plus when it's your turn at the counter, no one can force you to hurry up until your transaction is complete tho it's still gonna take lesser time than card payments which also fails occasionally. Technical problems can occur with anything, it doesn't mean the guy behind you but it's unfortunate that people do it with you. About the ads Samsung is very reliable and they assure that they won't use personal details of Samsung pay for ads and won't share it with third parties.

AnonD-270570, 17 Mar 2017You might not have a good bank balance but security is the ... moreIt doesn't matter if I have a good account balance or anyone else. At the end of the day, security is paramount at least to some extent. I wonder what happens when the two to three seconds becomes an hassle and extends to maybe a minute to some, trying to get yourself around when the embarrassing pop up appears, "unfortunately android xyz has stopped working, wait to respond or force close" or your phone starts acting up. Yes, it might be at its early stage that'll differently be perfected to avoid such issue(s) but you can't be too certain it won't happen again.

Security is also a myth because no matter how much you secure your confidential info, you're guaranteed someone is going crack through the firewall. You don't want to be in a position when the person or others behind you in line looses it and demands that you hurry up when your phone isn't corporating. Fingerprint is the best IMO in terms of security wise as it's convenient, less time consumption and don't make you look stupid or awkward scanning your face for multiple transactions, but when that fails too? Well, tradional method is the only best option next.

Besides, don't you think you are giving away too much of your personal data like your fingerprint, eye ball pattern, face info to a company that can't guarantee you 100% safety of your private info even when they say so? Hmm, I smell lots of REALLY personal targeted ads and some others things in the near future.

Why would anyone wanna scan there face for payments? Too much gimmicks with Samsung.
