[deleted post]If you hate sony ericsson so much then why are you posting on this news topic. The neo is a midrange phone, so I don't think you can compare it with more expensive high end models that usually "sport 4in+".
And stop blabbering on about no updates. The X10 did get quite a few updates, just not as many as you geeks want and demand.

I was shocked when I saw that the XPERIA Neo and Pro are GreenHeart devices. My decision was buying the XPERIA Neo, but now I'm changing to the Desire S.

this sony is a plastic phone, you have problems to connect on open free internet.
I know, i had sony 3 months ago, sold on ebay after 2 weeks, and it was a nightmare to use. only camera is good.
nokia is good, symbian is old, but work and dont use too much battery.nokia has good ahrdwre and are used even 5 years later.
android is good, never got a android phone , can not juge.androis wll be my next phone, probably HTC.go for HTC.

Guys, the Neo has been on pre-order on Amazon.de at 379Euro for at least the past month if not even more.
And in case you have not noticed, Arc is on pre-order too at ~435Euro, which has made me submit one piece for me to buy when it's available.
So do your homework, your data is old.

You're getting a lot of phone for the money here, the QSD8255 is no slouch, plus the BRAVIA and Exmor-r technologies, HDMI cable included, compact size and large battery, plus the fact it comes on Android 2.3 already makes it very attractive. What else can match it for this price?

Nokia and symbian are like a sinking boat and crew at the moment, thats why Nokia jumped ship to windows mobile, which btw ain't doin to well themselves.

[deleted post]Bro, the 3.7" is for the ladies who one might not like such a big screen and secondly would likely have a palm size that is not comfortable with anything bigger then that. From what I see on the street, the original vivaz design is pretty popular with the girls except that it had a dated OS in Symbian, if it had android I am sure it would have sold more.Frankly speaking the Neo does look more proportionaly compared to the Arc.
As for the OS updates, well frankly speaking, most people change phones once every 2 years when their contract ends, so I don't see a problem with it. And honestly speaking, SE is one of few manufacturer who put some effort into their designs. Look at HTC, true it gives good support but it designs are so dated, the same design again and again. Also SE came out with Xperia Play,something innovative that the others didn't.
Well its true that SE has its problems, it seems rather unfair to overly condemn it like you did. Furthermore, this wasn't meant as a top of the line phone so your comparision is also flawed. Besides, somethings like 512 RAM that you mentioned, most phones have that as well, I don't see you condemn them for that?
