This phone totally is hot. The screen, design, camera, water resistance, audio is good regardless of regional differences, the only reason people have voted 'not' is because it doesn't have the 835, or because they have some personal bias against LG.

Lg g6 no have dolby vision and HDR 10, need minin 1000 nits, espectre colour more 90% and dedicated chip.

Anything LG is not hot for sure!
They have the worst battery life and the worst android skin.
I had a 2014 Xiaomi Mi3 before I bought a LG G4 last October and I still would prefer to use my 3 year old Mi3 over any crap from LG.
But I have to give points to LG on the camera that they use in G4 but then considering its launch that is 2 years after Mi3, I believe Xiaomi would provide more for the money. Only if Xiaomi was there in Canada, I would have never switched to any other manufacturer.

Hot even though it using last year processor but it still hot. Just not freaking hot as not using latest processor.

2015 features with a new face, at 2017 prices. Not hot, and I don´t understand why many voted this is a hot phone.
My Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has also 5.7" with a QHD display, with a similar or better camera, and it is now a 2-year old phone, sold for $300-400 if you want a brand new one. I don´t understand the hype, just because they removed the brand and the top and the home button is now part of the display doesn´t make it a new, hot phone

Hot for last year maybe. For 2017 it's kinda mediocre. Except for the round corners, there's nothing special about it in therms of hardware..

So let's talk about the facts.
The reason why LG G6 is worse than G5:
- non-removable battery
- worse, downgraded camera
It has lower resolution (13 MP) and smaller sensor, while the rest of the specs are the same (f/1.8, same pixel size, etc).
- no IR blaster
- Gorilla Glass 3 screen glass, which is a downgrade from Gorilla Glass 4 in G5.
The only advantage of G6 is that it has heat pipes that cool the CPU/GPU and reduce the throttling only by 10% which is marginal effect anyway.
So in other words, LG G6 is the ultimate test of people. It tests how primitive people are. G6 has fashion design instead of usefulness and features. G5 has usefulness and features instead of fashion design. If G6 will be more popular than G5, it will prove that people are primitive.

Absolutely hot. I understand that it doesn't have the latest processor or whatever, but I am pretty sure most people wouldn't mind, I most certainly wouldn't. When it comes to specs, they matter when buying a PC, or laptop, but when buying a phone, they don't really matter.

i personally like the wide angle camera its awesome no one else is doing phones with a wide angle lens, so hats off to LG. But its coming in at a high cost that i cannot afford so looks like im gonna have to wait quite a while to get myself one.

They put up a lawsuit against the bootloop problem(typical LG) like the one in G4 and V10. After that, they all come back to Samsung or Apple. Happens every year.

Looks cool but nah, I don't like gimmicks. Used cornerfly for a week in my phones, liked it, then uninstalled it today.
