Finally. Thanks and good luck. My G4 died just after warranty expired and now it is sitting at the shelf. I didn't want to pay over $200 for motherboard replacement.

Lawsuit is completely just and fair. Bootloop's should be covered under warranty no if's or buts period. It's basically a piece of junk that you bought with your hard earned money and can't even use...

This could cost LG quite a large sum of money.

              Well done guys, well done.

This is a great news. LG should pay for ignoring customers. They literally didn't take any action at all even after recognizing the shortcoming which they did too late. I now have more respect for Samsung who not only accepted their faults but also acted upon it.

LG's are garbage phones. Had the G3 and V10. Both had issues, both were replaced at one year mark.

That could cost them a lot. I believed other countries will follow as well, hopefully not.

This is the reason i haven't moved on from xperia devices since many years. My first xperia was xperia ray and still is alive and well in great condition whereas my brothers galaxy s4's plastic frame's silver coating has been worn out and now its a shitty laggy phone with white(silver to white)frame whose battery has been replaced thrice in 3 years. My former phone moto x style has visited service center twice for display issues and broken 3.5mm jack. Samsung has shitty software and built quality, lg = bootloops, the only good phones me and my family trust now are from sony. I always use the latest flagships and then pass on to my family members after they are out dated but still my mom is rocking my xperia z without any issues. After using ray,z,z1,z3 and now z5 i can assure you no android oem can offer you stable experience for years other than sony.
