17 March 2017
That's quite unexpected since it will be the successor to a phone from 2013.

Would have loved if it had the same Illumination LED as the Xperia L did.

Superb!! I was a big fan of xperia V, T and L's design.... the curve was kinda like Sony's style statement. Hope it maintains similar design.

Where did you see the how ugly it is? Daaammmnnn... Having cancer is better than having your king of personality.
Even the old Xperia L had a beautiful look at it's time.

Hope they put SD430/435 in it rather than Mediatek so we can easily install custom roms(Cyanogen/LineageOS) on it!!!

I think this L series is for lower budget phone, since E series to xa series,c series to xa ultra series,M series to x series,z series to xz series,so it spec maybe like a first xa maybe alittle bit improve and price between $100-200,it just my prediction

Actually from an engineering stand point L1 naming is logical. Since L the original is L0 :D

MTK, small batery and over price is xperia build for low to mid end.. why not stick to sd.. i like xperia in outside not in inside..

Hopefully, it won't be another hueg phone. Xperia L is nice and comfy 4.3". In case L1 is any bigger than that, Sony won't get a penny from me.
