Battery is advertised as 3,000 mAh in BLU's web, but then when you go to buy it in Amazon it shows 2,300 mAh. This is a very dishonest thing to do. Very dissapointing

Should be fairly decent battery wise. Thing that worries me tough is the biometric feedback they do about user data back to China, was that matter resolved?

Very similar to Xiaomi Redmi 3 and 4 series except the Blu phone has only a 3000 mAh battery while the Redmi series has a 4100 mAh battery, plus a slightly lower cost.

This is why Android version never grows as steadily as iOS. Most OEMs still thinks newer OS versions as features and exclude that from their low level offerings.
