LOL they should launched g6 at all asian country...but LG is too laZY...ONLY focusing on west and middle east country....
The result ...lack of LG commercial advertisements especially on mobile phones....

It depends on what you are looking for if you think S7 edge is a better deal. To me, I'll trade my S7E for G6 because I've spent hundreds of ringgit to find a perfect screen protector for it and I'm giving up! and manual camera control is something I really wanted.

LG has no interest in Malaysia market.
So far no official distributor for LG in Malaysia. DirectD is not authorized distributor for LG in Malaysia. Thus product warranty and after sale service / support might be an issue.

There are some handphone, especially Xiaomi, sell by them are lower than official retail price in china, so are they doing charity? definitely not that case right?

Malaysian gadget enthusiasts always very aware of these parallel importer (1G, DD, etc) are always taking advantage for selling at higher price before malaysia official set comes. OP3T is the most recent example, dropped RM200 or more since OP3T Brightstar Malaysia official set just released.

Why LG G6 price is so high ? Because Direct D need to bribes a lot of government officer and minister to ease the process bring in the phone to Malaysia. So to cover up the cost of bribery they need to increase the phone price.

DirectD is a parallel importer. So technically phone is not launched in Malaysia. They just import foreign versions. Also DirectD have been known to take buy orders but it is actually a pre-order. You have to wait a few weeks before product is delivered.

DirectD is taking advantage of people in Malaysia...the free gift when buying this phone is not actually free...that rm699 free gift have been included in the actual price of the phone...the real price of the phone is rm3200...add rm699 and you get rm3899....

This price is normal cause it is imported set by 3rd party reseller since official LG Malaysia set not available yet..
