Software is hard, hardware companies should stay away from it, it's like throwing money into a black hole, it's silly at best. This is the nth time that Samsung things she is a software company. If she was just making hardware with only minor enhancements they would be of higher quality and produce their products cheaply. They insist this Don Quixotic pursuit of "challenging" Apple and Google with software, that, at this time, deems laughable.
Bixby, like any Samsung product, won't make the year...

AnonD-270570, 21 Mar 2017Bixby will be much more integrated and smarter than Google ... moreBoth Bixby and GA learn from the interaction history so User need to stick with one even if both are available. Also if you own multiple devices with voice assistants, you are going to prefer the one which is supported on all devices. Sadly, Bixby will be available only on the Sammy flagships for a while so unless Samsung makes it available across platforms like cortana or access through some app (like GA via allo) widespread acceptance even among S8/S8+ owners is unlikely.

Why do I use this, android already have a voice assistant and Sammy is a shitty android. MAKE YOUR OWN OS and build this Bixby ! You're just an Android under Google you didn't have your own platform so you do not have a right to make your own voice assistant! Unlike Apple has IOS and that have Siri, Microsoft have Cortana in Windows PCs and mobile.

Plus, Google Assistant is actually exclusive to android 6.0 and above and also android wear 2.0. Another limitation of G.Assistant is that it only work if your phone have Google Play Services; which is too bad for android user in China. So, your claim regarding its available to vast devices is not true at all.

If I own a Samsung device, obviously I'll use samsung exclusive features which everyone else owning other devices can't use. So that was again a dumb statement. S8 will have GA just like all other Android features but others won't have Bixby and other exclusive features.
