what about UI customizations? I suppose we will never see this...
Android seriously lacks UI customizations and is one of the main reasons people unlock and root their devices!
Customizations like lock screen (clock size and visuals for instance), status bar (icons and texts), quick toggles (adding and customizing unlimited number of toggles) etc'...

I wonder how many phones will be updated because we are entering now in android o but n is still green only 3-5 % share on devices......_ and high end devices to be specific ... so I guess that at this point o will be only on late 2017 phones and high end for this year ... another 3-5 percent share. mean while ios has 95 percent of devices covered ... that's only thing to shame on android ... google should release a stock based rom for all supported hardware such on pcs ....

DI, 22 Mar 2017Sorry dude. I'm using a 4000mah battery phone and it doesn'... moreNot to be against your comment or anything but... i have a 3500mAH Oneplus 3t running Android Nougat and i get 2.5 days use out of it from a single charge... so there might be something wrong with your phone's battery or something unless you're into gaming quite frequently, else you should probably try resetting your phone to fix the high drain issue...

The PIP feature is a joke...at least for Galaxy S users. Samsung offered the PIP feature 5 years ago with the S3. Samsung is always way ahead of the game. When I saw what Nougat was offering, the S5 running Lollipop had at least 5 of those features (no pun intended). Even Google is playing catch up with Samsung even though Samsung is using Google OS. Strange but true.

Android practically doesn't need task killers since 2.3 onwards. Task killers are mostly just taking up RAM and using up battery (while harvesting your info).

ToonToon, 22 Mar 2017No need to release a new version of Android every year. Wai... moreAgree with you. Google should release software update at-least after 2 years so that user can use mobile for 2 years or more and due to frequent updates people changing their mobile phones every years creating electronic waste.

Well the last OS were kind of crappy, they didn't add much, only some battery optimization on standby. Since this is already good enough, after being fine-tunes for 3 years, now please try to do smth for actual usage, hopefully Oreo will not only have improvements that only work with the screens off, hopefully everything will run smoother while we are actually operating the device...

I think it would be called orange or orange cake, bcuz look at the o, its orange, so it would be something orange, when android n released, i think its nougat bcuz of the colours that looks like a nougat, and not nutella, and if its oreo, it would be obvious that it would be black with white at the middle so i think it would be orange or orange cake

And my Zenfone Max on Marshmallow still hasn't received Nougat yet. Thanks Asus and Android for such a great software support

No need to release a new version of Android every year. Wait atleast 2 years. Even Nougat is far behind. It has only 5% market share. Nothing new in Oreo. They are just adding some unnecessary features. No auto task killer option yet. Have to download from playstore.
