I'm speaking about NO BRANDING on the front of the device and not the entire device like in the case of devices sold in Japan.

You replied to my comment (which was originally replying to someone saying Samsung Japan has no branding on the phone at all) about not having branding on the front or back of the phone, and said you preferred the look of Apple or OnePlus. I replied to you saying that they have branding on the phone as well, just like Samsung outside of Japan.

Phone carrier version is no longer than by Samsung. I believed the last device that had physical differences was the Galaxy S3, maybe the S4, but after that no more.

fyi, the ATT version of the S8 is no different than the TMobile one. There are slight MANUFACTURING errors here and there but not intentional (i.e. the curvature of the glass might be different from one phone to another because theyhre produce at different time, batches, etc.) Anyway, phone aesthetics is pathetic.

Samsung's mobile phone currently being sold in Japan does not have the Samsung logo on the front and back.

AnonD-1385, 24 Mar 2017To JOSELIUS: Irrespective of it being a carrier version ... moreThat may be the case. So, what are saying? You trying to say Samsung SHOULD print branding on the front? I like it better without the branding on S8 and S8+. Looks cleaner. As for US, just their luck. I dont really care whatever US get. Branding or no branding its their problem. Go ask Samsung US mobile division. Thats their decision to make with the carrier. I never like US version since Galaxy SII(one made by AT&T and another one made by T-mobile) and Note I717(T-Mobile). Look nothing like the original. Too much branding on the front. Samsung branding plus carrier branding. No home button but FOUR capacitive button. The front look like a big mess! Stupidest idea I ever seen. I just hope carrier stop messing around with Samsung phone.

Irrespective of it being a carrier version isn't it Samsung who does the labelling according to the carrier's request? Samsung is the one who prints the logo branding on these carrier devices...isn't that the case?

I agree with you. As I said just now the Samsung branding could have been put on the bezel below the screen. There's no sensor there just paint.

The Samsung branding could have been put on the bezel below the screen for the upcoming S8 and S8+. It has been done before...even if it's rare. The Samsung Galaxy Express I437 is one such example. This is the only Samsung phone I have seen with the branding on the lower bezel and even if it's not an international model, the fact of the matter is that it still has been done before.
