And what do you mean by shatter in one drop? I never had S7, but I owned a Note 7. And yes I did drop it. Every phone I ever had, I never use any protection case, not even the free case that came with Note 7. Only matte transparent vinyl wrap because my hands are oily and i'm afraid of scratches. Nothing happened. I dropped my Note 7 many times on marble table, bathroom tile floor, asphalt, and I returned it to Samsung in perfect condition. That is corning gorilla glass 5 for ya.
And you what? iphone ran over by bulldozers? I **HAVE** an iphone 7 plus myself.
I was sitting down on my butt on the entrance door waiting for my sister. I pulled the phone out of my pocket, trying to unlock and dial, and suddenly it slipped out of my hand and hit the terrazzo floor and got a cracked at the bottom left corner of the glass screen and some dent on the back. That is unfortunate? Yeah, because I had a $9 high quality tempered glass screen protector on. *THANK YOU LORD. I MADE THE RIGHT DECISION TO SAVE MYSELF FROM A $200 SCREEN REPLACEMENT WITH $9 SCREEN PROTECTOR*
I have never been so cautious with any phone before except this one. And the first phone ever I have my case on (yes, after i got a cracked)
Yeah it's bloody $200 to replace the screen if Apple is racist enough to not distribute iphone with warranty in your country.

just look at xiaomi mix with its ceramic glass.
the only advantage with harder glass is that its more scratch resistant.
i've known to many people that bought a s7 edge only to have every single one them shatter in 1 drop.
i've seen iphones get run over by bulldozers and the touchscreen still works dispite being shattered.
i call bs on iphones going crazy after a 1 foot drop.

What are u smoking? I want some too. It's corning gorilla glass 5. It is NOT indestructible. But the glass is harder than your average **iphone** aluminum body. Your average iphone goes nut after dropping from 1 feet high. Cracked screen, dent and scuff on the shell, not to mention its water resistance is almost useless

Imagine having to unlock the phone lying on the table without having to pick it up. Fingerprint on the back really is a complete letdown, and Apple is to blame for that.
Wonder why Apple is releasing new ipad? Iphone 6s 32gb? Iphone 7 in red? Thats where their money is going to. "Sypnatics" and bunch of people who holds information

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2017That curved corner screen is a big mistakeIt wont obstruct your viewing at all. It only rounded at the notification shade and the on-screen-button. The display you supposed to see will still be 16:9 with perfect rectangle corner. The extra space was for the latter.
