i will buy one, for my own use..
one, for my wife..
one for my mother..
and another for my brother.
my father in law's also waiting for this.

i am not wholly impressed with the S8/S8+, and i've tested the Note7 before the recall and it was so much more functional and practical.

I am a samsung sceptic from the first hour but if they launch this phone with apparently a different name, I'm gonna buy one. It simply looks amazing and compared to the s8 it looks even better. Just the looks man, nice design.

The objective of introducing refurbished devices is solely to reduce and minimize any environmental impact.

or to get back their wasted money?

if it explodes in India, its less likely to make any media impact unlike it happening in the USA.

One more thing, I just came up with a joke. Samsung should price it very cheap, why?
Because, After all, "a bomb should not cost a bomb!"..... or something... I sorta suck at jokes. :D

The first few paras of this news, were confusing like hell.. Had to read it again and again to find whether Samsung is recycling or refurbishing.
I think its a great idea, only if Samsung prices it beautifully well. I'm an Indian and I think its a great idea!

For those non-US Note7 users who has not turned in their phones yet, they should be able to rejoice now that Samsung is offering a refurbished one. Because if their current Note7 battery charging limit got crippled by one of those updates, they know a refurbished one will be able to charge up to a hundred percent of its total capacity. So long as Samsung also offers them the option to replace their surrendered Note7 to a refurbished Note7

Samsung should just rename it as Note6 and sell it with OnePlus-like pricing.

Samsung is going to dump Note 7 on poor countries where consumer protection laws are not as strong as "The West". It also Samsung having to recycle Note 7 properly because India and Vietnam are often dumping ground for e-waste
