waiting for one of these. HTC pyramid is what I want.

adreno 220 gfx chip in the new dual core snapdragon might also better than the chip in galaxy S2 and the Tegra

At 1st glance it looks exactly like my Nexus one I bought back in December of 2009. I mean seriously, what in the world is the deal with HTC and their old design??

Come on HTC, I have had my Nexus one since it came out over a year ago, back in 2009, and was hoping for a new killer design, something new but not this replica of Nexus one without the trackball??!!

AnonD-2634, 16 Mar 2011Guys can anyone tell when will be HTC Pyramid will launch..... moreAre you Joking, The rendered images of this have been leaked, the phone is probably not even in the prototype phase yet.
So 1st they will build a couple prototypes, they will check for bugs, fix the bugs, chck market demand, then maybe announec a launch date, so estimation 6-9 months?

I'm beginning to think this are just prototypes if not, just mere concepts.

For one, Android Honeycomb 3.0 is optimised for tablets while the next iteration of Android for smartphones is 2.4. Google has made it clear that Honeycomb is currently solely for tablets, not smartphones. Given HTC's record, they're not a bunch of people who would sit around and wait for a smartphone-version of Honeycomb much less 2.4, à la Incredible S.

Microsoft has also made it clear of the strict hardware requirements for manufacturers to follow and a 1GHz Cortex ARM7 processor is a default requirement. "HTC Ignite" is also rumored to sport a resistive touchscreen which again, is in violation of the Windows Phone 7 device requirement - Capacitive, 4-point multi-touch screen.

Nice designs and greatly improved naming conventions though, HTC. I would LMFAO if they followed the ChaCha and Salsa and came up with say, "HTC Burrito" or "HTC Taco". LOL!
