SD625? So it's basically Moto G5+ with bigger screen.

No way moto x should powered by higher version of chipset not a midrange chipset. if this so I should keep my moto x1 x2 and x3 as a working phone. not worth the upgrade.

This looks much more promising than g5+ in design department. SD625 is going to be all over 2017 too I guess. Moto z play, Lenovo p2, moto g5 plus now this. Redmi note 4, zte nubia z11 mini s, zenfone 3 many more.

I'd say it's more likely to be a new M series than the X. M2 or M dual. Something like that is more likely than X 2017
