Thabeef, 28 Mar 2017Why the heck does oppo use a 660 in their "premium" lineup.... moreSD660 is actually a flagship chipset if you go by numbers. It is clocked at 2.2ghz with 4 cortex A73 + 4 cortex A53 using 14nm process. So, its similar to kirin 960. Some claim said sd660 will be using kyro architecture which was exclusive to sd800 series. If that is true it will be similar to sd835.

This dual cam trend gets out of hand... We need bigger sensors first, not fancy set ups

Thabeef, 28 Mar 2017Why the heck does oppo use a 660 in their "premium" lineup.... morePremium midrange lineup to be precise. It sells the R-series here in for just around $300. The last flagship they made was the Find7, the OnePlus One's twin. After that, they just made mid-rangers, the R-series being their top lineup.

Why the heck does oppo use a 660 in their "premium" lineup. Shouldn't they be using a 821 OR 835
