We know it was highly improved with the S6 series and Note 5, but that "improvement" is not enough to beat the actual performance that Sony and LG offers in regards to the software optimization. Xperia XZ and V20, both using SD820, wins against the S7 Edge Exynos in speed tests.

Instead of just releasing their first Advertisement, they should have released G6 in few markets by now. LG completely missed an opportunity to get some sales. From today those who are eager to buy G6 will definitely wait for S8 to come, which is hardly a month away from today's announcement. And Samsung's marketing blitz will definitely help them sell S8 way more than G6 can ever manage in it's lifetime. LG should have brought G6 to the stores by now.

Too bad we don't have good market for LG phones in our country. Samsung and Huawei has the biggest share. If it is a flagship smartphone it's always either Samsung, Apple, OnePlus or Xiaomi. Never seen a high end LG phone here.

becoz the way LG says nothing to improve the ram falling of cpu, I still think it will fall off for newer models.
Lost of confidence hurts previous LG owners, we are not blind ....
Samsung at least admits and recalls the unit.... didnt buy the G5 primarily bcoz of the worry
