Have some mercy on this mobile phone company--- They have done the "hardest" work for the last six to 8 months, carried out the most difficult part of liaising with the Chinese mobile company, importing the vital parts from china and Re branding, worked hard on launching with all the Rigmarole, keeping the details of the product ( i.e.it's a Re branded product of Quki 5) until the last minute and teasing the customers day in day out for weeks and weeks, as if it is a state secret, and now reciting "Be Indian and Buy Indian."

Guys Micromax do not like even constructive criticisms like what given here. So do not be surprised this link might disappear/taken off from MMX radar quite soon. some others had already gone!!!

Micromax- MANTRA- Be an Indian and buy an Indian :)- no matter the how much the Quality of it's product are total rubbish. OR-Alternatively is it not more appropriate to chant- Be an Indian and buy MMX's -- Re branded Foreign products always.

If Micromax conceals it's actual authenticity of their re branded product, and sell their product at an exorbitant price, then as an intellect always quotes-"some times you have to say No"

Dead company walking releases another rebranded Chinese phone and then prices it way higher than real more prominent Chinese phones.

A bit expensive for Micromax phone.

v18h4w4n, 29 Mar 2017Sorry for the typo in 6th line. It was- It should be around... moreApparently GSMArena dosent support rupee symbol and interprets it as ő . What I mean is the phone should be priced at Rupees 20000 or $308

v18h4w4n, 29 Mar 2017Micromax previous phone, canvas 6 was a rebranded Shallots... moreSorry for the typo in 6th line. It was- It should be around ₹20000 or $308

Micromax previous phone, canvas 6 was a rebranded Shallots Qing Qing, a Chinese smartphone. Rebranding was done due to the fact that micromax will sell way more units than the company itself in China.

Now coming to this device, pricing for a micromax product is a bit high. Should be around ₹20000 or $308.
128 gigs of storage is very welcome but it should have fast read/write speeds as well.
Also sd652 is known for its hearing issues despite its stellar performance. QC quick charge 3.0 is also welcome. High price may be in fact due to the royalty fees which goes to Qualcomm after OEM's enable quick charge on their devices.

Also 3100 mah is not enough. should be minimum 4100 mah. Enough said let the reviews come and see how it keeps up in performance.

Micromax lacks creativity, innovation and vision. This phone is a rebranded Chinese phone. Nothing Indian about Micromax. I've used Micromax Canvas HD A116 and it was good at that time but Micromax isn't an original equipment manufacturer, this company only rebrand Chinese phones and sell them here. Micromax Dual 5 is re-branded Qiku 360 Q5..

They will give huge discounts on already costly product. They will make people fools.
