Should be a hundred bucks less at least. Nice looking phone and that is all about. I think the size of the 5.8 was a mistake and should have kept the 5.1-5.5 inches. The plus size is okay. I think the new Essential by Rubin will beat the hell out of this anyways.

Disappointed, they didn't present camera at all, only a small mention. They dont know that camera is biggest selling point in 2017, People need something to relax, phones by themselves is usually business thing and they ruin our time for relaxing. We usually at some time in our life use air-plane mode offten and than use camera for relaxation...
Pictures connects people :)

Lead2XL, 29 Mar 2017I think the S8+ looks quite odd, so long and narrow. Won't ... more"Even the 5.8 inch display of the smaller S8 is bigger than I need. I would take the LG G6 ahead of either of these phones - just for the extra compactness. "
Extra compactness? You do realise that the GS8 is a bit smaller than the LG G6, right?
GS8 = 148.9 x 68.1 mm
LG G6 = 148.9 x 71.9 mm

Meh, I'll stick to the S7 Edge for a couple more years. It's that good.

The S7 Edge design is much better. This is kind of junk from Samsung. Not visually appealing to me. I would term it the ugliest Sammy phone ever. Fingerprint sensor placement is awkward, on screen navigation buttons are crap and the phone is too long (looks like a D_L_O).. l will pass this. Not a major update over S7 & S7 Edge..

You would have thought the S8plus had more Dpi for a bigger screen, But apparently the S8 does......weird!
Get the S8 and no need to buy S8plus.

So, the Galaxy S8 (64GB) is actually cheaper than Galaxy S7 edge (32GB) at launch? ($750 vs $769)
Btw, Bixby and DeX looks awesome! Can't wait to try it out.

Okay. I just checked video on youtube and stuff. Im gonna pass on this.
Iris scanner is kind of fine, face scanner is definitely not so safe, and fingerprint requires the phone to be picked up. Nope. Not that.
I'll wait for the note. Better corners, hopefully camera, with S pen, and most importantly, hidden fingerprint scanner underneath touchscreen.
Let us all hope Synaptics is not a greedy enough to take offer from Apple to delay their chit again

It's basically just the S7 with a fancier design. Although the UFS card slot is an interesting development.

jtrogr, 29 Mar 2017Hopefully the price of the S7 edge will go down. This is to... more"for a upgraded Lumia copy from 2015."
What the f**k are you talking about???
