All these additional services which is going to drain battery life massively. iPhone needs to avoid unnecessary things like this! Their battery life is bad as it is.

Drop it once, then ... moreSamsung curved display is stronger than normal flat panels from other brands, I have been using S6 edge from two years, no case, no bumper just a transparent screen guard on both sides and dropped each of them around 3-4 times but it didn't get a scratch even, the S8 got gorilla glass 5 which makes it tougher. You just assumed that curved screen will break as it's curved. It'll take the same amount of impact to break a curved screen as for a flat panel. Fast wireless charging isn't a gimmick, once you are used to it, it's just so amazing that you'll never go back to cable charging. It's so useful as a stand while charging, no hassle of plugging the cord, what about the physical wear and tear to the port as you can find the difference between a new charging port compared to a port in which charging pin is inserted 500 times. While putting a phone on a stylish charging plate 500 or thousand times won't give any damage. Now it's as fast as wired fast charging I'm sure soon it'll replace the wired charging entirely and we can see a phone without a charging port even. (tho it also serves in data transfers so it may still be present for few years). If every amazing feature of S8 is a gimmick then spending that much money on a phone is also a gimmick, so I want all the unique gimmick features which makes it stand out of the crowd. So that someone with a cheap chinese brand phone like Xiomi or Oppo can't tell me that my cheap phone is better than your expensive '' iPhone''. Well in S8 case, they can't.

OnePlus is faster, Google Pixel has better software and camera, Xiaomi Mi Mix has less bezels, more battery and more Ram caching (faster)... etc.
If you're to root you also lose warranty with Samsung. Companies like Google, oneplus and xiaomi don't kill your warranty either. Samsung is a terrible company to give your money to. They used to be hardware kings, they are no more .Quite very obviously.

How about us, the rest of the world? And what if we don't want, or we can't use bixby? Can it be reactivated, so that we save battery? Can we remap the bixby button to do smth useful? Will it be used only if the phone is open? What if it is pressed in our pockets by mistake?

fast wireless charging -- Useless, you can only use this if you also buy the wireless charger. Is that very hard for you to plug your charger into the wall plug? Are you too lazy to move your hands?
amazing VR experience -- Really? 2K 5inch is still terrible for VR. You need at least 800 ppi for this.
most integrated virtual assistant -- you mean this Bixby bloatWare? hoohoo.. this is just an Svoice version 2. People will disable it soon after the buy samsung phones.
heart rate, oxygen and stress level measuring by the phone -- unnecessary gimmicks. you dont need all of those gimmicks if you are a healthy person. And get some rest if you are stress, dont play with your phone.
Options to use two accounts for the same app via Knox -- I admit This feature is really usable.

S4 was the biggest jump in specs, and the best sold Samsung ever. The difference between it and S3 was unprecedented, it literally never a Samsung phone has improved in so many things at once.
By contrast S6 was the worst. Actually a downgrade in several key aspects, the worst selling S phone ever, the only one that had a hard time to make a day of medium use. It was really, really bad.
S7 was a return to form, but nowhere near to what S4, S2 (and to a point S5) were. S8 is as bad as S6 and sales would reflect this.

People will simply get confused and frustrated when they think it's the power button.
Nobody used S-voice, and nobody would use this either. The behavior is to hold the home button, and that launches Google Assistant.
Samsung should stop wasting money on duplicating Google's stuff with their second-rate half-ass attempts. This phone seemed to be designed by an intern. The fingerprint sensor is stupidly placed so you will smudge your camera lens.

Samsung will always be a second-rate brand trying to disguise itself as premium one thanks to emulating Apple in marketing. Samsung were a bunch nobodies during the time Sony, Panasonic, Nokia, and Motorola were still in their heyday. And for years, Samsung made generic-looking products. A zebra can't change its stripes. Samsung is just putting lipstick on a pig.

I mean just shut you up and come up with more irrelevant drivel. No matter how many more times you're going to call Mi mix exclusive cheap it's actually twice as expensive to produce than your cheap galaxy (all ceramic, 18k gold rims, minimal bezel on the front w/t going the gimmicky route of the "edges").
Not only that it is faster (more Ram cache means I never reload my apps) has far more storage and 1000 mah more battery. It's 203 grams, less than what your phone + your mobile charger (cause you'd need one) weighs.
It's also actually lower than S8+ and less thick.... talking of bricks.
One last thing, I'm not losing warranty by unlocking my bootloader (xiaomi gives you a code if you ask them), have 2 year warranty in my country and 3+ years of software support (as all xiaomi phones do).
You get what with your puny galaxy? Cheap looking glass (not ceramic!), 2 years max support, laggy touch wiz, lose warranty when unlocking the bootloader (ie using your phone as you wish).
Samsung was always a cheap company. I would buy Samsung fridges and air condition because I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Heck I bought the original galaxy S because it was cheap for what it offered. Nowadays they think they are a serious brand, but they're merely a cheap brand posing as luxury. Every last of her products reeks.
Xiaomi is also a bang for buck company but when it goes expensive, it goes all out. Everybody who saw my phone were amazed, it makes Samsungs look cheap by comparison, as they should...

It can be being ready to spend on a phone financially or mentally. There's a class of people who can't use these cheap chinese phones as it will hurt their status. It doesn't mean all rich people are like this but a lot of S series users are like this. So I just told him if he'll be ready to spend on a phone,(which is unlikely) these Chinese brands will be out of the picture.

Actually not into these Chinese brands. So I checked your phone and impressive in first look, it's just a crap 210grams brick with the most uncomfortable design, even gsmarena mentioned that it slips even during lifting it up so first its from a crap brand, I mean everyone knows you've q cheap chinese low quality phone over this all its not impressive at all while S8 has the best display ever in a smartphone, mi mix display is below average. Samsung users aren't blind like Apple users, they check all options and go for it after finding it the best in the world and Xiomi, Oppo type users like you also know that S8 is the best and if you could ever be able to spend that much on a phone someday you won't think about these Chinese brands. Hater or lover, everyone knows that S8 is the best smartphone and no one is close even.
