A foldable phone sounds cool but I am not expecting too much of it now. It probably won't be a beauty since the tech isn't yet developed to fold everything of the Phone hardware.

Lead2XL, 30 Mar 2017I can't believe anyone will buy a foldable phone, something... moreYour myopic and lack of foresight will be wrong. So what is innovation? Another slab design until the end of time? Just 10 years ago, phones came in different form factors. Flip phones protected the screen when closed.
The idea of foldable displays is people now envision it to be like a flip phone. Since screen can be rolled or folded MULTIPLE times, I can imagine it being far more than a flip phone. X is bringing innovation. S8 and Note8 are not. Just another slab design.

Lead2XL, 30 Mar 2017I can't believe anyone will buy a foldable phone, something... moreSamsung creates and the world follows my friend... now look at your own device which is a phablet(made successful by Samsung itself) you never wanted to own one but later when whole market was flooded by it you owned one... that's how business is done n Sammy is master at it... after 5 yrs everything is foldable so no one is going to regret...

Lead2XL, 30 Mar 2017I can't believe anyone will buy a foldable phone, something... moreEh, it can alter from 'tall-screen' social media gadget and unfold into 'squarer/wide-screen' e-book reader.
Considering i've been carrying both smartphone and tablet for quite sometime, i definitely want one.

Looks like Samsung had most of its work done, but were unable to figure out how to implement the foldable idea in a productive way in the form factor so that it can become a revolutionary product. Now they have finally gotten it so no waste of time. (positively assuming this rumor will become true)

Galaxy x will most probably be an s8 with some improvements and new sensors/features that do appear through the first 2Q's of the year.It is a response for the iphone. Each year samsung launches it's flagship device early, meanwhile apple still has time to see the problems in it and what the users do expect from a phone each year.

I can't believe anyone will buy a foldable phone, something even less appealing than smartwatches, which aren't selling very well.
