I was only trying to show people always need a choice and companies always wants mo money or mo brand image. By making people buy the same phone for the same price but still make a heavy buzz like that, according to me, is a both interesting and successful strategy.
If you think about it, it's also psychological. These companies are very clever...(obviously).

It is not the color that is rare... moreComparing branded jeans with unbranded is like comparing Micromax with iPhone... here it is case of phone color only,, what I am saying is -why they are making and marketing this one as a limited edition...why stock is limited according to them...they just made a new colored phone... and instead of a regular launch, they labelled it as limited edition... by doing this they got free marketing as major tech websites published news about this and they also sold all phones because people bought it thinking stock will be finished... iPhone 7 comes in jet black color and many people don't like that, suppose instead of bringing that color at launch day, what if Apple later launch jet black color as limited edition..I am sure they could have sold same phone 2-3 times better..

Why buy 1 branded jeans, why not 5-8 unbranded jeans for the same price? Why aren't all Swift cars (of different colors) of the same model (and same year) the same rate?

OnePlus management knows how to create hypes for everything... this is just a color and people gonna nuts for this...why this is limited edition? is black paint so rare that makes it expensive and hard to make a black colored phone?.. these are just marketing techniques... ...limited edition, flash sells, fake out of stock lebel, scheduled sells,,all are just tools to create hypes among people ..so that people got panic about availability and purchase items asap

s, 4000 or even 4500 mah battery is all that i want. iam skipping xz premium and s8 because of poor battery for such excellent screen. i own 4k tv, which consumes 300-400w while i have same 50 inch 1080p tv which consumes 50-90w... what a difference in tv then what can be in phone... useless manufacturers, in the name of slim down they are manufacturing weak battery and fragile devices.. vivo and oppo huwai have mostly 4000 to 5000mah battery even in midrange. they have poor software optimisation. just imagine sony xz premium with 5000mah battery.. what a shame still such devices are in dreams only//

Really want to see a move to QHD this time. After having used 1440p (RGB) for 2.3 yrs, 1080p (Pentile) doesn't work for me, and I can immediately notice the difference in sharpness.
To address the concern about impact on battery life, there isn't that much of a difference, as Samsung flagships with QHD resolutions have been posting excellent battery life. Whatever impact there may be, it may be compensated by an increase in battery capacity (I won't mind some extra thickness, if that's what it takes).

One could a Galaxy Note 5 or an S7 for the same price which have a far better camera.
