18 March, 2011
The number of apps is some sort of pride for app stores so here it goes - the Android Market is quickly catching up to the current leader, the Apple App Store. What's more is that the growth the Market seems to be...

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2011Android is not good as iOS. Can`t wait to iPhone 5 it will ... moreWrong, the iPhone 5 won't be the best phone in 2011, there are already phones out there that look better than the iPhone.

I've tried Android and iStore and I have to say that Android is 10x better. You only prove how immature iphone users are by making comments like that.

Denial isn't just a river in Ejypt :p

Realize that developing and getting your apps out there for Android is a much simpler process than for Apple. For one, Android development is free whereas iOS developers pay a premium. That is the primary reason why Android has an increasing bigger number of apps each day.

This should suggest that many Android apps are very low key, due to the fact that getting your work out there is very easy.

Apple changed the music industry, computing industry and also the mobile industry and I'm happy for that. Has anyone ever tried an older windows mobile touch screen phone or one of palm's older phones? With Google, Microsoft and RIM all working harder than ever it only means great things to come and more choices for everyone when it comes to devices and operating systems. Increasing competition is always great for consumers as we all benefit with increasing competition in various industries. Also I really hate fanboys and fangirls as they keep their minds closed and promote ignorance and not debate and choice.

Imagine the same article but expressed in percentages: then you would have the Windows Marketplace in number 1 for having an 800% increase and RIM with 100% increase...

Anyway, throwing around number is just to compensate for iSheeps's small penis sizes, because how many apps do you really have/use on your Apple/Android/Symbian/RIM/Windows phone at any time?

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2011Android is not good as iOS. Can`t wait to iPhone 5 it will ... moreLOL...Android beats iOS hands down...I just bought an iPad which is great at what it does but Android is so much more intuitive. Android handsets have won Phone of the Year awards twice in a row now, and with continued development from a range of manufacturers its going to be tough for iPhone to pull it back. iPhone's are still great devices, but they're 'the best device'!

So Yea, sure they are there, but nobody wants them.

Wait, I thought people were going around claiming that the AppStore has Millions of Apps? 350,000 is not 1,000,000 let alone millions where I'm from. So that was just more fanboy lies. Oh and as for the number of apps, out of both of the appstores, there are only about 20% of useful apps there. All the rest are, listen to the baby cry, fart apps, joke apps, throw the paper into the trash apps and more crap like that. Glad to see Android about to shut Apple's cocky mouth though. Now we just need a 3rd party to come and shut Android's cocky fanboys mouths.
