Also you bought october 2016 model, almost 2017 :) I own v20 as well 2months in my pocket and counting and also waiting for v30 in late september max october to replace my v20. It will be rocket ship jsut as the v20. I loved my s7edge, love my v20 more, but ever gonna buy s8 only because the main camera (same as s7 with some software tweaks which is a serious joke for a phone who whants to be phone of 2017!). For me 2017 is LG! G6 is amazing but 99% same as v20 so I will stick with v20 until v30. If I had worse than v20 phone I was 100% getting g6 and later v30 !!! Cheers mate.

I liked it, price is high though. Buy it?? mmmm. Thinking of cheap mid ranger. No offence the S8 and S8+ are gorgeous phones.

For the first time in years, I decided to actually go with a phone from the previous year. I just bought an LG V20 and this will be replacing my LG G5. I love the S8 and G6, but the costs of these phones have gotten much more expensive and I got the V20 for $300 less that I would have had to pay for either of those two. I figured my best bet is to keep the V20 and just buy the V30 when it comes out, seems like it'll be a win this way.

Pre-Ordered XZ Premium... shame on Samsung for recycling their S7 camera. Plus these devs haven't optimized android for these weird 18:9 screen ratios.... and wtf is with those rounded edges? Show me a camera/tv show that is filmed with that.... *cough* cropping *cough*

Why would you pre-order an incomplete phone? The placement of the afterthought fingerprint sensor is ridiculous!

Someone Else, 03 Apr 2017I agree. SD 821 and SD 835 isn't that much improvement spee... moreNo need to wait for anything. Unless phones start running Crysis 3 and Battlefield 1 or you'll use the phone for quantum computation...even the Snapdragon 801 is good enough.
What we need is better batteries and better cameras.
Weird aspect ratios and huge screens are stupid.
I want a small S7 phone with 5000 mah battery and a Nokia 808 Pureview camera with ois.

It has almost no improvements compared to S7. Bigger display then S7 but it will contain almost always removed buttons so free display area for apps will be the same as on S7. Camera, CPU, RAM almost the same as in S7. Curved display on S8 is non sense.
Not buying this.
