the new update is awesome, everything more snappy and more fluidly. I tested youtube 480p since it's stated as no go by the chopyness, but the galaxy s is capable to bringing it at a decent framerate of around 14.(oced 1.2ghz without jit mod) Higher then 480p is no go!

I see where the performance comes from, it now pauses all flash adds etc when playing video which is good, and it now buffers all videos fully rather then streaming data with a few second lead. Some videos are still a little choppy however if you let it buffer fully it's fine. Gametrailers.com used to be a flash nightmare but plays fine. Although the sound is screwed now, slow mow.

For someone who knows their stuff, the N900 is the ultimate smartphone(only limited by its RAM). Even now its MicroB browser second to none, and therez nothing even close behind it. Of course Android fans aint gna admit, after all the're specsheet geeks who root their phones using INSTRUCTIONS and fancy themselves geeks. They give a bad name te I.T

[deleted post]I never claimed that it has got flash 10.2 but at the same time it comes with flash out of the box.

I am not even trying to convince myself but a tablet costing way too high is supposed to do that right from the start. It can play all the movie formats out of the box...well I am not here to explain capabilities of N900 else I have to spend whole night.... Moreover it is not meant for kids like you. Stick androids up your ass. I discount your stupidity due to lack of knowledge of yours....

I tried to do a before and after comparison. I went to the TSN.ca web site to view a video there. TSN videos tend to be very choppy on my Desire Z. It still seems just as choppy after upgrading.

I'm not sure if TSN uses Flash or some other method of showing video content. I assume it is. If someone can confirm this, I'd appreciate it.

I don't have any problems with smoothness on the Sportsnet.ca site, even before the upgrade. I did not do an immediate before and after comparison as I found the videos very smooth before anyway. I figured I would notice any difference on TSN more, but did not.

Working nicely on my SE X10 running Android2.2.1 FreeX10b4 ROM :) videos are smoother, althoui 480p ones can get a tad bit jerky.

As for the N900, dont you dare compare that dead brick to high end Androids, try mid end like Galaxy Ace or something.

Any idea if this will work on HTC Wildfire? I won't need it for 720p video, but it would be nice to have full flash on it...
