Sony has been contributing a lot of audio enhancements to android according to google. This is to benefit all android phone manufacturers not just Sony's phones. That next audio codec or enhancement you have on you Samsung, LG, Motorola etc. . . Might just came from Sony. It's not copying, Sony gave their audio expertise to the android code.
Search for an article on "the verge" about this if you want some sources and proof. Not just fanboys bable.

Tube Amp Pro... moreLOL if you use the ClearAudio+ you can't tweak the adjustment and Adapt Sound is different.
DSEE HX makes sound muffle (experience with my Z3C (i had it) and Xperia XZ (try them on phone store) while UHQ Upscaler makes treble cleaner.
Tube Amp Pro makes louder and great instrumental separation and xLoud? It's enhancement for loudspeaker.
I don't believe Sony fanboys because all of them are liars. My Note 4 is better than Xperia Z3 and Z5 and my S7 edge is even more :-)

just implement something like Viper4Android pls..in these few years I avoided warranty of my phone just to root and install Viper4Android, I just cant live with it. It would be good if some oem implement it without without having to root..

and i did listen music on s6,and s6 didnt have better sound then z3, z3 is older phone,it was just louder,while z3 have more clear sound
and yes we dont care about you irrelavant opinion,you dont even know anything about sony audio engine,sony audio engine dosent suck,samsung is just chatching up it not better just like with build quality etc... lets remind are self of s5,well the dishwasher is made batter then that

With Samsung i love the Adapt Sound ( HTC already copied this feature), UHQ Upscaler, Tube Amp Pro and when i'm listening live music recording i turn on the Concert Hall enhancement and really makes alive.
I don't care if Sony fanboys don't care about my opinions but Sony's audio engine sucks!

Really, Sony, can't you just get us a proper camera module? You have squeezed a full frame 42MP sensor in a tiny rangefinder body, bet you could stuff something APS-C in a smartphone body with no design compromises.

Don't fill this page with annoying comments. Samsung sucks with its laggy TouchWiz. TouchWiz is nothing but laggy UI with childish icons and useless features. Samsung engineers don't know what is optimization. Their phones will lag even with 8GB ram. Sony is other story. The most stable and smooth UI that never lag.

2. Why do I need to be constructive? I am not attacking, I am trying to correct the false statements you're talking about here, though it gets boring to explain to non-listeners like you. I can stop this anytime, but I don't have something to waste my time with, so until right now it's fine for me.
3. Can't get over? Or you simply can't admit that Samsung made a mistake? I used it because first, it's related to Samsung engineers that I was referrring to when you referred to Sony engineers, and second, you act like Samsung is a flawless company and Sony is a company of shame. Not true at all, hence why I'm doing this. I ain't claiming Sony is also flawless, but based on facts that they have done, Sony did better than Samsung in mobile. Not in sales nor track records, but the phones themselves.
4. Oh, so I bought a fake Galaxy S which has a green battery colored icon! Cause as I know, even the S8 series has white icon colored battery icon.
When talking about audio, your so-called "SoundAlive" is nowhere near close to Sony's propietary audio settings such as DSEE HX. I have used it on the Xperia Z3 and tried that SoundAlive on the S5. Playing the same exact audio file using the same headset and same exact volume and the Z3 managed to play it better. Louder, clearer, punchier, better quality overall. Samsung was never known for great audio, and their AKG earphone-bundled S8 series is just their marketing trick to advertise that their phones have great audio when they simply don't. We'll have to see though.
5. So asking me to use a theme basically means you're also admitting that I was right. That's what I need, thanks that you're not really that bad of a Samsung fan after all. And yeah, I know that we can customize it, because it's Android.
6. They're selling billions of units yet they can't make hundreds of the sensors for each of them? Then why bother make your own ones? Why not harvest them first and sell when they're enough to be supplied already? But Sony sensors are still better than Samsung sensors anyway so I don't really care.
7. Did you understand what I have just said? I'm trying to say that you must make sure that every feature that you'll implement will be useful in people's everyday lives. For instance, Samsung had the feature called "Air View" on their Galaxy S4. Where is that now on the S8 series? Only useful feature from Samsung was the split screen multitasking, and eventually Google did it better. If you should sell different features every year at the proper flagship price, then it might be the reason of Apple removing the headphone jack at a price notch higher than typical flagships

Sony experia z4 aqua.......No cover on charging port.BIG DESIGN FAULT., Gets clogged up with fluff and dust making recharging the battery bloody near impossible. I will NOT buy another Sony unless future phones have a port cover.

Sams... moreThis is "concept software" and I myself found some features in the stable firmware of my Xperia X not found in the "Concept software". This is more of a testing ground for Sony to add more features and get user response. The concept software doesn't even have the theme engine yet! X-Reality, a staple of Sony smartphones since the Z1 only arrived to the concept firmware just this month! So you can't really criticize beta software, it's not yet final. And to those who say that the UI has never changed and etc., let me ask a question, does Sony's UI really need refinement? TouchWiz changes over time because of the consumer response that "This one is lagging.....this one has too many features....this one has cartoony icons...." and all sorts of things. I cannot say that the Xperia UI is the most refined, but it just has Stock Android with an icon pack and a theme engine. If it ain't broke, why fix it?
