New technologies come for a price. Everyone's complaining that this phone that can do 960fps slow motion video is too expensive at $700 yet nobody's complaining about the S8 series that cannot even do what the XZs can do for $900

Yeah, that's a crazy price for a phone with a Snapdragon 820. I mean, $700?? What's stopping me from getting one of the flagships of 2016 for half of that? Not this phone, I can tell you that.

But at the end I still think that it isn't worth the prices that Sony's asking for). And for $900 you can get 2 XZ from B&Hp( they've got a great deal last time for $449).
While the xperia XZ premium may had got a award, but I think Sony can and should have step up their game and do something about the bezel (although I don't really mind it when I'm using the phone). But that doesn't mean that it is okay to go on this from Z series to the current XZ series. It is stupid not getting it smaller (because of what? The front speakers, that's just lame).
I think the best phone design should be the old MS/Nokia lumia ( the last phone that they've made for Verizon, the 9xx something or icon). Funny thing is that, that phone got a bigger screen size than my old Z1, but the phone size is smaller and feel so good in hand ( pretty slim for a phone in 5'2 ). While the Z3 is a little smaller than the Z1, the bezel did make it look bulky!

I love 960 fps sensor.
I hate dil*do design whith obsolet camera ,big black virtual bezels and audio mono

I've bought my Z3 with 900$. So don't worry it is good deal. Go for Sony. Ugly design? Lol it is very stylish and beautiful unlike Samsung with its childish design and useless edges. Huge bezels? Bezels are actually useful for handling phone.

Its "Best New Smartphone 2017" award for "xperia xz premium". which i think they got because of "super slow motion @ 960fps" tech. dont spread lies in here. even iphone 4s looks better than this.

Fun fact: this phone is cheaper at launch than the huawei p10 in Norway , and the p10 is already been slashed, that is a really nice move by Sony, they might sell because imo xzs is better in every way :)

Now have you even used one of these in yourself? because on paper, I myself thought the design (of this X series) to be horribly ugly but it was only a misconception until I saw one myself! the design is downright gorgeous... it looks one of the most beautiful phone out in the market... whereas other companies are constantly creating a phone with keeping only one thing in mind "Bezel less" and thats it.. where as Sony went the other way around! and trust me, this ain't bad as you are blindly saying! go and use one yourself and then come and speak ill about such a spectacular phone!

ugly as shit.. while even Chinese dirt cheap are coming with full metal premium design, this one have plastic frame? I wonder who will buy this. It will be a waste of hard earned money

As a xperia user ( Z1, Z3 and XZ), I really don't mind the bezel ( even though the others are complaining it as usual, and how many of you are actually a xperia user?).
As someone who plays alot of action games on my phone, those big bezel somewhat good for handling the phone and game cause it is like the space in the controller between the buttons.
But, while Sony still lack behind and always being a catch-up phone maker, there's no way that a Camera upgraded phone from the XZ is a good deal for $699!
