Google and major Android phone makers gather in a patent peace agreement

Samsung, LG, Foxconn, HMD, HTC, and others will join forces with Google to exchange app patents royalty-free.

Dont expect anything ground breaking like sharing design or hardware. Probably just sharing some custom android features for the betterment of android as a whole. As for Sony, if Foxconn and HMD is there, pretty much all the other major brand is included.

                      Hope a day later, android also have security update in innovation and agreement with some partner for android quality.

                              I think , google was like , if you dont let others use your patent for free , then i will banned you from using android . Pretty much it . So all majow company bow down to google request since none of that company can survive without abdroid

This is one of the great things about the android ecosystem it always ends up better for the end user.

                                      Awesome news! Finally! I don't remember any 2 Android phone manufacturers at each other's throats about some silly patent, but never mind that. This means the OEMs can finally put their differences behind and work together to create a great tech...in the ideal world, of course ;)
