    Who would have thought a few years ago that samsung and apple would make a similar looking phone without being called who is copying who.. cause they both are made by samsung... Hihihi

      I just hope that this picture is only for illustrative purposes... because if it is the real, SJ will get out of his grave and ...
      the X-phone is supposed to be the start of a new era, not a copy of a Samsung note!
      MiMix showed us we don't need bezel or speakers, Amoleds that we don't need botons, the flex that a phone can be curved... all this are tools for the proyect of Augmented Reality, nobody is going to carry that brick on the face or carry it on the pocket(regardeles if the glasses or headset).
      Iphone better steep up the game if the intention is real, or is just "lets milk the cow while we can?
      SJ must be crying...

        My phone (6GB) never reloads. By reloading I mean seeing the loading screen again (if it's a game), not keeping where you left it (if it is a browsing up). This is a very slow experience, and all Sony phones do it.

        By slow I don't mean "smooth", Sony's feel smooth because they kill too many backround apps, about are actually very slow because they reload all the time. For example if you get back to the facebook app and instead of being into the article you were just reading, takes you to the first app screen ... that's slow because you'd need to refind the article, not to say having to wait to reload the assets.

        About the camera, most high phones have manual mode. But most people don't use them anyway, so it's right what websites do, they check what most people use. If you're to use the manual mode it's Pixel XL that wins anyway, so Sony is a sore loser there too.

        If you don't use headphones, then you get low quality no matter what. When alone people use headphones, when not they use earbuds.

        Big bezels do not help in holding the phone, I cup the phone with my palm, I never touch any of the front part of the phone, why would I. Even in landscape mode you merely use both hands. Bezels are literally useless and ugly and make the phone harder to carry handle by making it gargantuan. That's why even Apple is cutting them out (ihpone 8 would have minimal bezels).

        In laptops you pay half you may get the same. In phones you pay half and you get half (if you buy Sony). Much lower quality in both performance, apps and camera (in auto mode). The new iphone would -once again- blow every Sony phone out.

              S7- 12mp
              Iphone - 12mp
              Pixel - 12.3 mp
              G5 - 16mp
              Xz - 8mp

              XZ can be 20 or 23mp on auto but nobody wants to use. Then they complain about the photos.

              Z phones cant even change, they are all 8.. Z1 to Z5... Many ppl do not even know this..

              If you want to know what the cam is capable of, you should use full power...

              I use always 20.7 instead of 8mp. Results is always better..

              PhoneArena is the only site that believes iphone 7 is great cam.. Even with the fact the guy was completely yellow when he took a selfie.

              Keep a Xperia and a Galaxy for 2 years.. Trust me, the Galaxy will be the slower...

              I still do not know how can someone make an app reloads.
              My previous device with 1gb has never done that.
              OP3 has a limit of 20 apps open.. You cant use 6gb.

              No, s8 has 4gb everywhere except China and Korea... Rest of Asia, Europe, Africa and whole America get s8/s8+ 4gb ram + 64gb storage.
              But this 4gb actually are 3,4gb not even counting the amount that is going to be used by system. I do not expect more than 1,7 gb free.

              XZP is 3,7gb.. 2,2gb free to use..


              The other example I gave you was about laptops.
              You pay half and get a Dell tons of times stronger than an Apple.

              Sony has Hi Res Audio. Xperia can perform upscale if audio file is low quality.
              What a movie or play any game on a Xperia, iphone and Galaxy so you can realize how poor is the sound of the other two.
              Many ppl do not use ear or headphones when they are alone.

              Very small bezels make harder to hold the phone (landscape mode). Bezels are used also to keep components... I agree Sony should trim a bit. But like s8 will never happen.

              Sony Pictures and Playstation make everything 16:9. Unless this change, Xperia remains 16:9.

              G6 looks a regular phone, better than G5.
              But s8 is ugly. S6 edge+ and s7 edge look 1000 times better..

                Z5 does not take better pictures, all websites agree. Iphones has a better camera in most things
                You phone has ram available because it kills every background app. It's like saying that my car has a lot of petrol (of course it does, you never use it). That's actually why Sony phones feel so slow, they always reload apps.

                LG is a low end company so it's not a good example. S8 has 6GB in China, they only give 4GB in Europe and US because fanboys there don't complain and will buy anything with a Samsung logo. All Flagship grade phones (at least in performance), have at least 6GB at this point, Sony lives in the past.

                Sony has a poor sound too. Just because iphone's sound is poorer doesn't mean that it is a good idea to use the front speakers. Phone's speakers are too small for anything good. If you use a phone speaker you already lost. Headphones or real speakers give you 10x better results.

                iphone plus has 400 ppi, the new Sony has ~800 ppi. You can only see the difference with a microscope. Do you use a microscope when using a phone? No, if so Sony's high PPI is a problem as it wastes resources for nothing.

                You do need to watch a 4k content. Just because your phone can play those formats doesn't mean that you can see their quality. 4K only makes a difference in big screens, esle the pixels are too close together to make a difference. You need a TV for 4k no matter what .... else you actually watch 1080p because the human eye can't tell the difference in tiny screens.

                You pay "6000" because you get better performance, better battery, better software.
                You pay "3000" and you get significantly worse performance (Sony reloads apps all the time), worse battery (after you install some apps Sony gets the worse battery), less choice in software ... oh and huge bezels (when compared to modern phones, s8 even).

                  Just look what happened to the PC industry. Intel killed it. Fanboys (and I regard the enterprise sector "fanboys" too given how exclusive they are to their preferences) kept buying Intel even when Intel was producing sh*t chips, not letting AMD to find the capitals to continue being as competitive.

                  The result was that Intel established a monopoly, in turn stopped the development of their CPUs (we get the same per core performance for the last 7 years) and desktop computing died because people lost the need to upgrade.

                  Funny thing is that that also killed Intel, because PCs stopped offering a competitive edge over mobiles with as a result many to migrate to mobiles almost exclusively. If current PCs were 100x faster than how they are, they would still see usage merely due to how fast and capable they would be (we would get a myriad of software unavailable in mobiles because of how much more powerful the desktops would be).

                  So don't take me wrong, in the long run Samsung and Apple are being killed by their fanboys. But they should realize sooner than later and *try* to offer specs even if they're not "asked". Specs give you long-term competitive edge...

                    I think Apple will also introduce iPhone with their own created super fast comparabale SDD type memory card slot new standart or maybe super fast micro SD card whos are fastest in micro sd market because new ios update new apple file system are compatible more with SDD/flash storage type and more encrypted safe software inside. So then is safer to use memory cards. I think thats can make happen because apple and ios now are more opened closed software but also more safier and encrypted expecialy after last update. Would why do apple this is to more fight in marketshare with android phones in other markets like india china and others to sell lower storage less price iphones with compatible memory cards and also keep hight devices quality. Because now iphone memory expanding every year and are more pricely so if they do differen thing for different markets show iphones with low memory like 8-16gb inside and low price and can't explain because possibilities expand memory with cards. So I think it's can happen.

                                        Xperia have bigger cam sensors, it is placed above screen and not behind. LCD is thicker than oled. Sony Mobile does not something ugly like the cam of s6 or moto z.

                                        Front speakers require more space.. Look at Nexus 6P, Moto X Pure, many Htc

                                        Samsung and LG has 18:9 because iphone 8 may have.
                                        Sony does not work according to rumors about other OEMs.

                                        S7 has 3000 mAh, Pixel has 2800 mAh... XZ has 2900.. Same size... Lower resolution.

                                        Iphone has 5,5 and 2900 too...

                                        XZP has bigger battery than s8.. Even without oled it can last well.. Stamina turns everything off when display is off.. Much better than Doze.
