Honor 6C also becomes official in Europe with €229 price tag

05 April 2017
Unlike the top of the line Honor 8 Pro, this model's affordability is one of its main selling points.

Anonymous, 06 Apr 2017Isn't this a total downgrade over 5c? 5c had a 16nm process... moreThe regular Honor 8 is still IMHO the best bang for the buck atm. It might go down in price a little now that the 8 Pro will be out which will makes it even better. And it has the good Cortex A72-design :-)

ShockieUK, 06 Apr 2017Yeah wtf. cost more aswell lmao I have Honor 5c,not reciv... moreWhich isn't such a big deal in reality. Android 6 runs 99% of all apps. And yes, some people keep moaning about "security updates". The reality is that (IMHO) I haven't met anyone who has had a compromised/damaged phone (yet).

And you don't have to do it for the additional features (e.g. fingerprint-gestures, advanced notification-settings, advanced permission, advanced battery-saving etc...) of newer Android versions either because most manufacturer-enhanced Android variants have these already on older versions. Including these Honor's.

I've used a Galaxy S5, kept on KitKat, without any problems for several years. In fact it had much less hassle with some parts due to a less-restrictive version of Android. Either way, I wouldn't want any of those phones. I think it's about time we leave those old Cortex A53 designs and move forward. The Cortex A72 or A73-designs are more my liking.

AnonD-396417, 06 Apr 2017it seem to be a downgrade from honor 5cYeah wtf.

Anonymous, 06 Apr 2017Isn't this a total downgrade over 5c? 5c had a 16nm process... moreIt was really onpy the last year or so with phone companies going crazy, and not even all of em. But yeah, the mid range section is just flat out dead thia year. The Moto G series is tiered malarkey being nowhere near the value for money offerings of the G3 or the god like G4 phones, the honor line and the P9 Lite offerings were insane for the 200 Euro price bracket, but now stuff like the P8 Lite/Honor 8 Lite or the 6X are already outdated in multiple ways, and Xiaomi has lowered build quality for their snapdragon note 4 refresh. Lenovo's K line has taken a plummet since the amazing K4 Note, LG is stuck in some weird limbo were the budget segment is overpriced underspecced phones with 2013-2014 Samsung build quality(that freaking chrome plastic look UGH), and the Samsung J series is about 30 euros too high for each tier, same thing with the A series. The J7 tier should be around the 200 mark but is around 250 when the A5 should be around the 300 mark.

Anonymous, 06 Apr 2017Isn't this a total downgrade over 5c? 5c had a 16nm process... moreI think it is a bit more "play" version, a.k.a. lower than Honor 5c, might be Honor 6s instead.

Better than both Nokia 6 and the Honor 6C, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4, 4 Prime, 4X, 4A or even the older 3S. Depending on the model, it will have a better screen resolution, bigger battery and - in all models - a more affordable price, even with shipping and the reseller commission. Adding to all this, there are some local stores that sell Xiaomi devices with two-year-warranty and a EU charger.

So expensive. What wrong with Huawei keep on increasing the price of their products. Not a great value for money anymore. Nokia 6 anyday for me.

I really wonder what are they thinking when making wallpaper, it's disgusting imo.
