A shock proof construction, shall have rubber gaskets between screws and motherboard, and also other absorption methods, similar to the equipment build for military.

You guys have all brands except from Wiko. They are all after your money. Here, the market isn't very changing. Apple, Samsung, LG/Motorola and Google. These are the most popular brands in order for years.

It... moreOnce , if your os corrupt , you will face the same problem as me , wasted 2 3 hours just to reflash the imei that gone missing after i flash a stock rom . Tried all posible way , xiaomi did produce excellent phone for the price , but the os , recovery , is not something fun to fix once your phone bootloop on itself .i owned a redmi note 3 , fixed tonnes of xiaomi , but naahhh . Redmi note 3 is pretty much the last xiaomi phone that i ever bought . Experience wise , sorry to admit , even though i dont like samsung , but samsung is always the easiest phone to fixed ( software part ) because i only deal reflashing the whole rom . You does not need permission to unlock the bootloader like htc . Sony is a rare breed , its hit and miss . Iphone , always make me stop half way .

Given the price of the 5&6 I'm hoping that the 7 is easily below €300 but got a feeling that the 7 and 8 will be more. Might have to go with the 5 instead.

Nokia 5 is probably better value for the money than Nokia 6, same Snapdragon 430 same design/durability and same battery but 5 have a more batterylifefriendly 720p vs 1080p, and none have a really good camera!
