The chipset inside is most likely a SD626 rather than a 660. If it was a 660 it would have a better GPU. This has same specs as SD625 only with the clockspeed set to 2.2Ghz which is a SD626

Cortex A53 and Adreno 506, probably SD625 or SD626. But I really hope it will use the new Snapdragon chip. Pleeeaaaase

How they could make it 6 inch.
6.4 is not too large for the pants pocket.

If they have trimmed a bit of the bottom/top bezels and added USB C, makes one hell of a good device!!

Great another downgrade with a S625...

              Adreno 506 is Snapdragon 626... 660 os Adreno 512.

And is a total retarded move from Xiaomi reusing that infamous chip constantly.

They want to kill the Mi Max line?

Is ideal for a concept Redmi Max (lower bro), but not for a Mi series which is a performant/novelty one.

                    It's a 2,2 GHz A53 octa-core, so most likely a Snapdragon 626

It has Adreno 506 GPU so it must be Snapdragon 626! It has a CPU frequency of 2.2GHz.
Like the CPU change from note 3 pro to the note 4x, its a downgrade for better battery life.
                          Snapdragon 650 to 625 or 626.

The xiaomi mi max 2 specs is pretty good for midrange smartphone, but the gpu is downgrade (adreno 506) from the first model (adreno 610). Hope for xiaomi mi max 3 they using super amoled or oled screen display technology with dual camera from sony with latest imx sensor.
