    It's like having two fast cars that is to top 150 mph on two lanes, and then have 4 slower cars topping 100mph on 4 lanes. The slower cars would cover more ground in total. The mere fact that C9 pro would deal with the nand (far) less due to ram caching will make it into a faster phone. Also it's not as if it is a weakling SoC wise, cortex A73 is a beast.

      It has been proven time and time again that Samsung smartphones need a lot of ram for multitasking because samsung doesn't optimize its software. So, of course, the S8 NEEDS more ram.

But that's just probably because of the SD821 of my Xiaomi Mi Note 2 vs my other LG G5's SD820. But the camera? LG G5 takes the cake. My last samsung was the S4. Never again with the touchwiz. If only google Pixel was released here in Vietnam. We are flooding with Vivo and Oppo and other "selfie-expert" trashes here when no flagship of theirs are even released here. (no x series of vivo, no find series here from Oppo either. Then again, when was the last time oppo did a flagship?)

                  Amazing that everyone is going nuts over this phone, especially when you can't get your hands on it. Funny, am I supposed to feel stressed over this predicament? I'm not, especially when you can get a much better Smartphone then these Sammy's. I'm going after the ASUS Zenfone Deluxe 5.7 25Gb Memory & 6GB Ram or even better is the ASUS Zenfone AR. Sammy doesn't have anything even hear the quality of the AR.

                  Stupid people, quit Sammy!! Remember your Elementary School training and "Just Say No !" to all Sammy has and is!! You'll feel a lot better about yourself, your family will once again be proud of you. Heck, even your Dog will think you're a better person/human !!

It's already more expensive than the normal version though the sped will be same. And yeah it's only for the S8+. The more popular S8 will still be 4gb everywhere in the world so one can buy it and feel that he has the same version as the rest of the world. Oh yes Samsung C9 pro has 6gb ram which is also oriented to Asian markets but its not better than the S8. So if some Asian country has a 6gb S8+, IT DOESN'T AFFECT US.

                      You insist to say that 4GB fast ram would create a faster phone. It won't because, half of the time you'd be loading from nand, so there goes your "fast" ram. Older but more plentiful ram is faster because I need to use the nand less due to caching.

                      Why is that hard for you to understand? Are you willfully pretending not to understand what entails having to use the nand more?

                      Nand storage is a slow and old tech compared to ram. That's what you're using (often) on 4GB phones. So yes, new tech is always faster, you don't use new tech, you use old nanD half of the times.

Did you have MIUI's "battery ptimization" on? Then yes there is no difference, MIUI is aggressive with background apps. I always remove it as it doesn't help with batter much, merely makes the phone slower.

                        So yes a speed capped ferrari is slower than a fiat. Remove the cap and see it take flight. LG G5 reloads background apps all the time, especially if you game a lot. One of the slowest flagships of 2016

                          Lag is the chppiness you experience while browsing the phone and it's almost always drivers / surfacefling issue. Speed is how fast you can do things. So in 1 minute I can do more on C9pro even if it's choppy while doing so. Chppiness can easily be solved with software update, speed less so because it's hardware more often than not.

Not much difference in speed against my LG G5 4GB RAM with same apps used/installed. i'd rather have a different variation. Like 256 GB internal storage than 6GB RAM for the S8.

A phone... moreso you will prefer 6gb of lag over less with no lag. you are talking against yourself. bc the lag of the speed and the use of old ram technology, it gets horrible lags. with new technology and faster ram, you get rid of lags. even on sapple os. and again, you need to experience it, not just read online, to know the differences.

                                    Oh God, 4Gb DDR4 is better then 4Gb DDR3 but can't said it entirely better than 6Gb DDR3. But surely 6Gb DDR3 with SD835 will make S8 king for a while and don't expect Sony,LG, Huawei, Nokia will beat S8 in terms sell number, speed test, or battery life. But iP8 will beat in sell number, OP5 in speed test, and Xiaomi in price for spec I bet.

                                        "The one used in C9 Pro is the slower 6gb LPDDR3 type. That explained a lot why it have so much ram but not as expensive. The one used in Oneplus 3 is the faster 6gb LPDDR4 type. The even better one that I suspect to be used in S8+ is the newest type 6gb LPDDR4X. This ram actually just announced last year. The one already in used by regular S8 is the 4gb LPDDR4X type. You can find cheaper smartphone using the less expensive 4gb lpddr4 ram or 4gb lpddr3 ram."

                                        I only said better not faster. You misinterpret everything I wrote like an idiot. I simply saying lpddr4x better than lpddr3. 6gb is still faster than 4gb. I also said the lpddr3 type as cheaper. Lpddr4x more expensive and new.
