Expensive, worthless piece of trash. HTC, why won't you die already!?

The only model sold was 10se, which was cut down version (weaker processor, less ram) and it was sold for more than original 10 (imported unofficially). I was picking between these two, and HTC looked good... if only it had proper warranty (imported phones don't get any warranty). Didn't have a chance to take a closer look at HTC 10 - couldn't find any in showrooms.

i also had tempered glass & tpu case on my old HTC ONE MAX

you should note there is no edge sensitivity problem as HTC phones have bezels on the side so the tempered glass edge is over the bezels but sill clear of the TPU case edge/lip.

i can't speak for Samsung problems because the last Samsung i personally owned was the SIII. and until Samsung fixes the lagging problem that starts about in the 6 mount of ownership i'm not going to buy a Samsung again.

Anth0ny, 08 Apr 2017Hello 2017, there is something called tempered class scre... moreSadly, even back in 2016 most flagship phones had slightly curved "3D" glass, which makes it next to impossible to install a tempered glass screen protector and not get a "halo effect". This is true for S7 (flat version, the one I own), same as most flagship devices. There are a few solutions, and I don't like either of them. You can get a "cut" protector, which doesn't cover sides (like, having half of the screen protected, using sides becomes problematic), or get a 'curved' screen protector (rare, expensive and makes sensitivity worse on sides, case may crack screen protector).

In other words: I wanted to get a tempered glass protector for my S7 flat but found out its too much trouble ($30 for glass + $20 for shipping and it may end up cracked by case?! and it makes sensitivity worse on sides). Same problem exists for most flagships.

So yeah, tempered glass screen protector is awesome... but only if it fits your device. If you buy a device of "HTC U Ultra" level (flagship), most likely it won't fit.

A headphone jack would have been appreciated more! I have Momentum AEBT Wireless and B & O H8 also wireless but still prefer to be wired. Wireless is simply an additional option and should never be the only choice. Moto (the first company to remove the jack) are you listening...???

Keeps it pristine rather than feeling a phone with rubber and plastic. I'm regards to ultra HTC with sapphire, I would imagine this handsome device to look and feel stunning.

A smartwatch never fall of our wrist. Camera lens almost never cracked when fall. That is the kind of places where we dont want to see scratches.

there is something called tempered class screen protectors. works better than plastic screen protectors and it has the feel of glass.

is the sapphire option a compensation for the wasted space?

I'd rather have more brittle screen. Put the phone in a decent case and there you have it - shatter protection, as good as it gets. At the same time, it will be much harder to scratch, so you won't need a film on the screen AT ALL, which makes that fancy super-nice-to-touch glass finally usable without rubbery feel of usual films. Very nice feature.

                        And very expensive, apparently.

Hope they do a torture test on this model. The gorilla glass version got the worst rating possible for modern day smartphones.

Put Sapphire on the back to and maybe you sell some of those...because nobody wants a phone with no durability.
