This phone is huge-- like a pocketbook. And the dual-core is overkill if you will only use it for twitter, emails, mp3 listening, and web browsing + downloading.

Also, samsung is not good with anything related to displays or cameras. Samsung is mass-producer, not quality-producer, of electronics.

If you want good camera and videos, go for Sony Ericsson. You'll never go wrong. Even with so much power, Samsung camera and video still so-so average.

BTW, how much is the RAM & ROM of this thing? More importantly, How MUCH it will cost?? Bet you it will cost northwards of $600. And you still have jerky swiping, fuzzy videos, and poor shots.

If you had a faulty Galaxy I'm sorry for that, but there is faulty devices in every line and as majority goes the Galaxy was the most powerful line up til the dual cores starting coming out and now the new galaxy will be. And that death grip was more than certaintly the icraps.

Anonymous, 24 Mar 2011sorry mate you seem to be confusing the galaxy with the iph... moreOh no I am not, I have one and holding my phone to type (or do just about anything for that matter) drops my signal to almost nothing (slows down whatever I am doing if it uses data). It is incredibly frustrating and the reception sucks where my cheapo nokia that cost a fifth of the price gets full reception (HSPA only since I am on wind)

I have Galaxy S just now and love it and video quality is very good but sound is awful produced from the mics for video recording.

I hope the Galaxy S2 is better in that respect but looking at the video sample it appears to be extremely shaky and no video stabilizer from what I can see.

I simply hope that samsungs support when it comes to updates and similar has improved. the Kies software they used was atrocious and never worked properly. For Me to turn my back on HTC is gonna take a lot of convincing.

AnonD-4367, 23 Mar 2011What are you talking about? Samsung Galaxy S 1 Gingerbread... moreeven in my country, Indonesia the official update for samsung Galaxy S froyo 2.2.1 is already rolled out weeks ago and my most friends that have galaxy S already upgraded their firmware. The gingerbread update is already scheduled to be released this week. Bad luck US carrier locked Galaxy S I guess. hopes that stupid carriers would push the update to the galaxy S 2 phones.
