It may loose appeal in India due to non Jio sim viability.
Huawei on the contrary, should have brought up an update of this one withe voLTE and Jio sim compatibility, and few more niceties instead of dropping price. I hope they still can gain lost ground and update it and see this soar high in sale charts again, as far as India is concerned!

I just purchased a Honor 8 midnight black from a vendor in Amazon for $81 plus $5 shipping and the phone is brand new not refurbished or used but only the midnight black you can find at that price , very happy with this purchase

In my mind the Honor 8 Pro is the most exciting phone launched this year, and I'll be picking it up the moment it lands stateside.

I feel like Honor is focusing on the US market, and ignoring Europe, having the chance to buy it, but not really pushing the market forward... So, as an European citizen, I think I will ignore Honor's smarthpones.

Also I am curious about Axon 8 (it did come out in June or July last year) and Le Max3 (amazing specs, although LeEco is in some trouble these days.... may be all the more reasons to support them so they keep making amazing products for amazing prices).
