It's more valuable gold cover, than the phone. Samsung repeat the same mistake. To be good. Continuing on this path will have big financial problems, as is the case with weak profit made from it S7. It seems to be blindfolded and unreal.

So Samsung can sell phones for silly gimmicks to third parties for people with more money than sense but cannot manage better hardware unless you live in South Korea. Does that not strike you as rather stupid too from a customers perspective? I, and I suspect many others would happily pay extra, granted not as much as this but then the market is much smaller, for a phone with better specs. but no we just get offered ludicrously priced gimmicks from third parties that offer no actual improvement to the phone that most people cannot or will not pay for. That might make sense to you but it sure as hell doesn't to me.

But of course it says "24K Gold finished bezels". There is a monumental difference between gold finished and gold melted\molded\implemented. Unless the material underneath the glass just happened to be Yellow Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum, which would make it easily cost over 5000-6000€, then i dont see how anyone with a sense of luxury is gonna trade a Vertu, Feld & Volk or Solarin for a precious metal "coated" device that costs half of what the actual metal would be if processed, refined and casted upon.

However, see the line that reads You can combo those noble metals with the Midnight Black or Orchid Grey colors "from Samsung" as those determine the color of the glass back. A gold case needs another case on top of the gold case to protect that gold case, it cost more than S8 so the owner should hope it drops on the screen to protect the more expensive gold case!
