LG G6 to gain facial recognition support in June

3D facial recognition will appear in a software update as early as June when LG Pay launches.

AnonD-393421, 14 Apr 2017G6 has terrible battery life, average sot is 4 hours Dude, something is seriously wrong with your phone if it is has a battery life of only 4 hours. I use my G6 a lot and current battery usage states 9hrs 37mins on battery with estimated time remaining of 8hrs 23 mins.

    Even the face recog employed by samsung now has similar weak points as before though they are working on it

          Lol Facial Recognition has been there since Android 2 or maybe 3? Basically Shamsung is using it as innovation on their phones which is practically a gimmick for false advertisement.

They announced LG G6 will be only be available in their authorized store starting April 14. The date for S8 is also still 29 April as announced by them.

The curved screen won't get in the way (ex-Note 7 here). GS8 have top notch chipset, amazing display, iris scanner, and that's only the beginning. I have to agree with one of the commenter here. There's no reason to pick the Lg G6 over the GS8. The price are about the same, so pricing is not an issue here.

                              Really - I just dont get why anyone would buy this phone. The S8 is just better end of story. And i'm definitely not a samsung fan generally

I live in Singapore and there isn't a single unit of galaxy S8 or lg G6 in stores. Heck, the Galaxy S8 wont be available until 29 April! And the LG G6 won't be available until 14 April in Singapore!!!
