    They dogged their own grave with the motomods and the promise that they will be usable on the next Z's. Because now, they can't follow the trend of slimming down the bezels, or they would have to make the screen bigger which I still think is worse than just trimming the bezels

      Really?! What about moto z force? At the time of launch it was in top 3 best camera phones, according to dxomark. Still in top 10 now.

While a 4,7'' Smartphone can have the same size that a 4,0'' has (comparing a Z Compact to a Nokia 808, for example), a 5'' screen will never fit in a 4,0'' form factor. So, where is your "same form factor" now?

                many say that it's not Moto Z2 but Moto Z2 Force... which is a surprise given the slim form factor...
                Points to be noted...
                1. Moto doesn't give a traditional fingerprint sensor. They are tiny trackpads doubling up as FP sensors. A lot of gestures can be built in
                2. The bezels look big which is OK since this device is supposed to be the force version, which is shatter-proof/unbreakable. Thin bezels is difficult to maintain for a device like this.
                3. The Camera setup looks a bit funny (smiley face/gingerbread man), but they had to continue with the mod thing. Which therefore shouldn't be a problem.
                If Moto Z2/Z2Force keeps the same features as last year and add a few like better camera, SD835 I am sold... I am actually buying a new phone this year and this is right on the top of my list... mostly because of MotoDisplay and front-firing speakers

                  I don't think it's a Moto E. May turn out to be a Moto X... The Z2 however looks sexy af.

                    E4 looks promising.

                      See no point in simply adding new devices. Rather X/Z, G and E are enough to cater to three segments- premium,mid and economy.
                      Adding C family is pointless.
                      Let Z/X have 820+ series SoC, G have 600+ series SoC and E with 400+ series.

                      In this way few quality offerings will help to strengthen the market position rather than struggling with quantity.

                              Kinda interested with C+ with it supposed 4000 mAh batteries. If this phone is sold at $100 (c standard at $80), it might get traction.

                                Moto Z2 with shatterproof display, Snapdragon 835, 3500 mAh and I'm sold. A lot of people don't like the design, personally I love it
