lets just hope that it actually appears. I've seen this in the past. Instead of getting the app it just disappears from existence. Effectively the companies buy the developer out as they don't like what they are doing or want more control over implementation.

Companion app? Meanwhile Gear smartwatches have an standalone Spotify app.
