Some Samsung Galaxy S8 users are complaining about reddish tint on display

Correcting the phone's color display settings allegedly doesn't improve the situation.

IPS LCDs do the same, but nowhere near as much - they only act as a mirror. Sure, blacks are the main advantage of sAMOLEDs hence why my next phone will be a Samsung

And just like almost every other phone the S8, iPhone, z5, LG, Yada all have some models that the calibration is a little more off or tinted.
                    It has nothing to do with being lcd or amoled

                        It is just problems with AMOLED. Some people care about accurate color some don't. If you care about it, get it exchanged until you got a good one. I have compared my iPhone 7+ to S8+ display units in stores and some have accurate white like my iPhone, some have red and some have green tints.

                                  You do realize this type of issue exists on many models of phones and is not uncommon right?
                                  As well as many other issues better or even worse also exist in almost any phone right?

                                  Have you every heard of reality? There in the real world perfection does not exist.
                                  And in that real world they have this thing called mass produced consumer goods. Even further from perfection no matter who makes it, what it is, or what people expect.

                                  As well as you can almost for sure guarantee get a replacement if it does. And even the built in color settings for the display can probably fix it.

                                  Time to wake up to the real world and become an adult

                                      If Samsung has any problems with this device I will never buy any Samsung product again. I had the great experience of the Note 7 fiasco, If your quality department didn't go 150% after that shame on you. I myself have switched to LG and LOVE the new G6. I ordered the S8 to replace my wifes S7 edge and seeing reports of quality related issues already really makes me wonder. If her phone is affected by the red tint that's it, no trading in for another mess like the note 7. BTW I went through 3 note 7s before it was recalled. 1st one exchange for exploding problem, replacement had power on/off issues, third one recall. My wife really wanted to stick with Samsung but I will be making the decisions here on out on which manufacturer I choose to go with for both of our phones.
