Depends on what yardstick you measure your watches by. Time was when accuracy was a Big Thing. So let's put them to that test:
Patek Philippe accuracy +/- 4 seconds a day (good)
Sa,sung Gear S3 Classic: +/- 1 second every 600 million years (better)
That's of course because the Samsung, like virtually every other smart watch, is hitched up to an atomic clock (Apple and some others use the US Naval Observatory one at Annapolis MD.). At least by this one yardstick, a lot of watches (including cheapie Casio radio controlled ones) beat the socks of the high-end Swiss ones, and the fine craftsmen who make those might just as well go home and practice their yodelling.

I bought one of this 3 months ago on their website and I couldn't be happier, their gold plating is top quality, their customer service and communication are excellent, I emailed them the picture of the exact band I wanted and they went above and beyond to get it for me. It arrived in just 2 days and still looks as nice as the first day.

Anyways, whoever claims Grand Seiko is not on the leagues of Rolex, Omega, IWC, etc., cant call themselves a watch connoisseur. Its like luxury watch racism, if the word ever existed.

I was just observing how a Steel Rolex is worth more than a Gold S3, and if you read the ":P" in my comment, you would know to understand the manner in which it was said..........
BTW Grand Seiko is really not in the leaugue of Rolex, Omega & Patek Phillipe. Try Panerai, Audermar Piguet, Hublot, Blanc Pain or Jaeger LeCoultre just to name a few....

Theres a difference between mass produced, quick to sell and quick to test vs mass produced with care, testing and personnel that make battery testing on newer phones look like childs play. Rolex, Omega and Grand Seiko test their watches to the extremes, so much in fact that you could compare their tensile, abrasion, puncture and compressive resistance to the levels of luxury sports cars, meant to endure natures fury at its best.
This is gold plating on a smartwatch (not gold casted), which also means that by your logic a 60,000€ Patek Philippe with a leather strap, platinum buckle, platinum casing and with some of the most artistic and complicated movements on planet earth made by hand extensively trialed for almost every non-extreme scenarios, which if taken well care of will last for over 50 years with ease, is something that is only justified by "branding" and not quality?
Just my point of view, also with money and fanboyism aside, comparing a Rolex to this is like comparing a Aston Martin DB11 to a modified Volkswagen Polo. Comparing a Patek Philippe to this is like comparing a Rolls Royce Phantom to a Nissan Micra.

What an unfortunate name "De Billas" is. The word "Debilas" in Lithuanian means "Retard".
