IPhone 6 and 6+ has been sold 200m over the life cycle combined. I think 200 million figure is because all three IPhones, 7s, 7s+ and 10th anniversary iPhone all will have same chipset, that's why such a big number. Even if Apple wants iPhone 10 to sell 200m, they won't make all of them before launch. Prior predictions of 60 to 80m are more logical for 1 model.
IPhone 6 was first iPhone which debuted in pair, and with long awaited screen size increase. Still they combined sold 200m in more than 2 years. so single iPhone 8 selling 200m alongside the cheaper pair in less than one year is out of question IMO.
