Desire hd pros - great screen size and clarity, touch screen v responsive, menus better than competitors, amazing download speeds, quick processor, great video camera.
Cons - excessive use drains battery quickly, no camera button(poor single shots)

Cod3rror, 30 Mar 20112.3 will probably be the last one for Desire HD and Galaxy S.HTC actually supports it's phones for more than 6 months, you know.
The normal Desire is getting Gingerbread aswell (2nd update now) and will get more.
The only reason why Samsung decided to update their Galaxy S is because they still plan on selling the 9003 model.

It's definitely better than Cupcake Hero used to come with. But it's sluggish, not to mention on HTC Magic. FroYo has a JIT that it's a big improvement but frankly you need a good processor. (600Mhz are on the limit a realistic one would be 1 Ghz to be as fast as FroYo meant to be). Gingerbread will come with a fenomeal HTC Sense UI update. you need good phones to play at. Desires and all other HTC Phones are good but they need to have enough processor and RAM to handle with those things. The Industry just can't imagine how new features could be now from two years. I used to change my cell non smartphone every two years. Why do you want to keep a smartphone that much of time... even a computer become obsolete earlier.
