New Google Play Store update makes it easier to manage your apps

20 April 2017
New server-side update for the Play Store totally improves how we see available updates and manage apps we barely use.

It sucks that you can't select more apps to select at once. Now you have to press install on every single app

I already have it on my old xperia that runs v4.3 JellyBean. Didn't expect that I will receive it.

After the update, it hangs and then crashes on my J7 J700F everytime i use it. Not properly done. Tried clearing data/cache. Same problem.

Looks so App Store, there's "update all box" and "update word in a box". But. nice try, Android.

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2017iOS had this look years ago, I mean literally since iPhone OS 2 ... moreAll companies copy one another and have their own innovations. Calm down boy.

Nice details.
What I would REALLY wish for was a setting "Open in My Apps".

99.99% of the times I open the Android Market, I immediately press the vertical bars and "My Apps".
...The remaining 0.01% is mainly erroneous launches where I just close and kill the app...

I'm SICK of them wasting my time (and bandwidth) with all these ads on the frontpage, yeah yeah, I know they do not call their ads for ads....

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2017Look at the comments. It seems Android fanboys / users are enjoy... moreAn easy question to answer: NO, it would be hell...

I used an Ip6- for 1½ year, until I got too sick of the OS. Their hardware is ok, but the OS still lacks behind even Symbian in some really really basic features like call and sms.... e.g. Only distinguishing numbers on the last five digits, was a BUG that I had not seen since my Motorola Startac a very very long time ago. And to my knowledge aPpple still have not fixed it...
If you live in a country with less than 10000 phones, and have no contacts abroad this is not a problem, but for the rest of the world it is...

I have that for two months now

I could point out at least 15 things where iOS is way more stupid than Android, and maybe 2-3 things better than iOS. If you are so confident, let us have the discussion right here in these pages.

Posting this from my Oneplus 3T!

Its better than it was,but that's hardly saying anything, this is the first major change in 9 gens of android and 12+ years..
You still cannot search your past apps,me,I was an Alpha pre-release tester,so have almost 14 years worth of apps, that runs to about 5000/6000+ apps, and you still cannot sort by time, device or any other way..
