I can say XZ Premium is great
but s8 kill XZ already so?
im gonna buy the G6 since this device is sexy like my S7 edge Samsung phone.

DenisXD, 25 Apr 2017curved display that is seriously fragile from the drop test... morenobody ever does drop tests it shows how practical the phones are. I haven't seen any sony drop tests either though.
sony xzp is definitely amazing. But I wanna wait for Sony IFA for the 5.2 inch phone wiht 835

It is very sturdy, I can image the CGG5 will make it even better. FYI everything must have it clue, just a like a sturdy phone must have some weight, if it is cheap material is will be more in plastic and fragility (don't dreaming lighter because they use more of the titanium, don't dreaming please.)

They tell same stories every year, yet end numbers keep telling a different story all together... overall sales down, including 17% drop in their flagship portfolio sales.
Its just Sammy marketing, those stories about better preorders, better than expected demand, etc...

DenisXD, 25 Apr 2017XZ premium can do 960fps video, has stereo speakers, a more... moreThat's what I'm saying, it got little better slo mo videos but S8 can also record very good slo mo, slo mo videos are not common and not a everyday thing, Samsung doesn't have stereo speakers but it still got very nice speaker. It has much better display than Xperia because it's a curved super amoled perfect blacks display. But things I mentioned, MST payments, fast wireless charging and other things I mentioned in my previous comment are impossible for Xperia. So yeah it can't even do half of the things the S8 can while S8 can do everything.

If Samsung won all the Fanboys will be like Samsung deserves it..best in every category blablabla..but God forbid Sony, HTC, LG, Huawei or other brands win, the world ends. I have news for You! Samsung hasn't innovated anything recently. For those who say 4k is not necessary for us Bixby or that stupid eye xray is not necessary. If anything the eye scanner is present in devices pre 2014. Slow MO video is super fun while doing anything. The predicted auto focus shoots before you click the shutter and an all new camera. Sony works hard to innovate they just don't sit on their bums knowing people will buy anything they release like even a bomb in the shape of a phone.

Competition rise and then they collapsed! You may right about it, But I doubt that Apple ever been crowned as king of smartphone world base on my knowledge at least. They do at tablet category. Now that they have perfected the xperia, things are beginning to change and paying off for Sony's hard work.

It also won the award of the best phone in the mobile event of 2017. Get real, it's a great phone kiddo.
XZ does and has things s8 doesn't, so do your homework and come again.

I never been fond of this unpractical trend anyway, it's ugly to look at too.
I also repeat that it's NOT a complete package without stereo speakers and durable design, so ill pass. It doesn't worth that money. XZ premium is a better deal for me.
