$805 while you can get this in the US as low as $550 lmao...

AnonD-8419, 21 Apr 2017This is an excellent device and i would have bought it if i... moreWell, many people say thet samsung has made an exclusive contract with qualcomn to be the first to use the snapdragon 835 in their phones and thus stopping other manufacturers from releasing phones with those chipsets before a specific time, and there is not much difference between the 821 and the 835. And you can only imagine the amount of criticism and "hey its an S8 ripoff" LG would have received if they released the phone after the S8. But i agree that LG has been a bit big on the pricing for the G6 with 821

Indian market may be of value conscious nature but LG doesn't enjoy the same kind of brand recognition as Samsung, Apple and Sony in this price range here in India and for that matter everywhere else. I don't think LG will get more sales than even the last years flagships of the above said brands at this price. Now that S8 has been released, Samsung is officially offering 128gb S7E for 51k and 64gb one for 45k, which even makes it lot more difficult for G6.

This is an excellent device and i would have bought it if it was of 55k too . Design is excellent but i dont know why the heck lg is sticking to an older chipset. This is one major drawback for me. Thats why will go for samsung.

52k for a year old chipset and a mediocre camera setup....???
S7 edge is a better option.

why don't they launch for 45k

SKR..., 21 Apr 2017As if anyone cares! 52K really for a Snapdragon 821! LG is ... moreDon't underestimate LG like that... I have seen many who still use LG.. The only problem with LG is that they use LCD...not AMOLED...but LCD has more natural colours...

As if anyone cares! 52K really for a Snapdragon 821! LG is seriously a dumb in pricing, I don't even see anyone carrying a High End LG phone in India. How does it even make a bit of profit!

Trust me it won't. We would rather buy last gen S7 or an iPhone than to get an LG - which even after all discounts will amount to 680$ - which is really ridiculous for a product even the company doesn't accept as its flagship.

Indian's are value conscious but not everytime. Specially not for something this meaningless.
