The default Samsung Music App is clearly better than the Google Play Music app, with better immersive looks, and more useful options. Also, Google must remember that it's Play Music services still don't have worldwide ability.

It is a reliable source free of viruses. I used it to get the S8's Music app, S Browser 5, Good Lock and more.

All my music in google play music are organised to artist and albums. The great thing about google music is if you upload it all to your account you can play stream your music from any device.

I agree with pretty much every comment below.
Samsung's own Music app is way superior to the Google equivalent. It's just another method of extracting our cash / advertising.
Unfortunately, due to some considering any of Samsung's pre-installed apps being considered 'bloatware' they're not given their due credit.
I too have disabled play music, movies, magazine etc.
Credit where credit's due. Keep apps simple and less reliant on online storage, streaming, downloading, advertising. We just want to play music!

Google music player is the worst. It's so bloated with useless crap. All I want to do is play MY music, I know a lot other want to do that too.
They even screw up the music player! Put all the specific artist's tracks in one folder, separated by their album. Don't put the artists' albums in separate folders. Some albums I have by artists, are just singles. So I would play one song and then when it's done, I have to click back to get to their other album. That's my biggest problem with google play and iTunes music player. The only app that does it right, that I know is Samsung music player.

At least the excellent Samsung Music app is still bundled. I always disable Play Music, Movies, Books and everything but Play Store and Games. Google Play Bloat.

Most importantly it has Shuffle w/ memory & progress - When you choose to play a custom song, it shuffles it in as the next song, and continues the shuffle afterwards. Also has Queue.

Fully agree when I 1st get my smartphone I disable Google Movies, Google Magazines.
Samsung has a better music player and I prefer Samsung S Note more the Googles Keep.

Samsung music app is much better than google's. I consider most of google's apps to be bloatware. Play music, play movies, play games, play newsstand, google plus...bunch of crap i disable immediately.
