We knew about the updated chipset already, but the additional camera was a surprise.

Too bad it will likely feature the same horrible software that ruined the Axon 7 for me. I do like that they appear to have removed the redundant Axon logo that ruined the rear aesthetics, but it also appears to feature the same ugly and not-user-friendly capacitive buttons. Oh well.

Bring on the OP5.

Backlit front buttons, this time, pleeeeeease.

Too bad it doesn't support necessary USA LTE bands.

20 Mp and 1.25 micron? Are you sure about the 1.25 micron? Because this would mean that it's a 1/2" sensor.

This takes the cake. If this releases in the US for less than $600, they got a customer. Front facing speakers, high quality DAC, 128gb of storage + expandable storage, 6gb of ram, dual camera setup(although the original Axon wasn't a great camera, we will see how this holds up), a minor upgrade to the processor, and a revamped battery? The only thing I see something negative with this phone is that it is not completely future-proof. What I mean by that is the Cat .6 speeds at 300/50. With the world quickly transitioning to 1 Gigabit speeds, this phone will peak at 300 at most, however; I don't think anyone would need speeds that high in the first place unless you're streaming 4K with multiple devices. Another worrying thing is bluetooth 5.0 isn't implemented due to the processor. It's the only major drawback for me but everything else will definitely be worth it.

In upfront, well done to ZTE for all these upgrades in the Axon 7s. But what about the sound, the dual front facing stereo speakers, etc (because the space of the specs sheet list is
empty/blank ), It is still like the one in the Axon 7, better, the same, removed or what ? And this Axon 7s is instead of an Axon 8 with the SD835 or what ?

Axon 7 series keeps getting better.
Perhaps HTC might learn something useful from watching how ZTE do things..
