Why is everyone talking about everything but the phone ?
Why also is everyone so interested in phone cameras ?
Before we had cameras on phones was everyone walking around with a camera in their pockets ?
I am sure cameras came out before mobile phones !
I think alot of people have been caught with this ridiculous idea that the camera is more important than the phone. Is the clarity of the phone and its signal strength not important !!!!!!

nope, the 1st pda-phone is IBM Simon (release date: 1994). i know it's not as sophisticated as PDA-phone nowaday, but the fact that it 's the 1st PDA-phone cannot be changed.
btw, the LG is not that bad.

Amit Puri: agree with you, the first PDA smartphone was the SE P800, and it's the most advanced phone in it's time. and it's still appealing to me cause of it's cool looks, and number of applicatons available=D
it's good to remember great SE products before=D

the iPhone will have 3G by the time it comes to europe later this year. bet on it.
this is apple. look how fast they upgrade their iPods. you think this will be the same piece of stagnant hardware by the end of the year?
W950 has a screen with less colors, weaker resolution with far less pixels her inch and the touchscreen sucks. it is not Multi-Touch. the browser sucks and the iPod interface will be better for music and videos.

erm what planet are you on? iphone this iphone that....the thing doesnt even have 3G so what use is the 3.5 inch display when you cant browse at a decent speed. W950i already kicks its ass

the prada phone is nothing more than the same old touchscreens that suck today. that's why we don't like them, they suck!!
apple iPhone is futuristic with Multi-touch. something we've never seen in a consumer product, a technology that has been waiting and will finally see the light with iPhone.

that's where Apple has the 200 patents, in the interface. that is what will separate the iPhone from this.
the iPhone has all the power of a Macintosh computer with full HTML web browsing. look at the interface of this phone, it looks like a Samsung phone UI. we're supposed to navigate a touchscreen with that? same weak baby web browser as every phone today.
it's nothing new. the iPhone will blow this away.

Daniel H:
it's only a matter of time for you/us to practice typing using the comfortable touchscreen than the thumb-aching keyboard pad. it's a clear evidence that we are moving towards easiness rather than just putting everything without even thinking of the bulkiness and inconvinience of the mobiles.=D

anyway we were talking to sony but this topic is about LG. anyways LG design concept greatly dominates mobile market. even moto razr won't have anything to match but only because of it's popularity in it's own country america and it's marketing position leaves LG behind.
now we'll wait for some giants to have phones with no keypads but screen... no problem for SE/Motorola cause they've already UIQ phones since 2001 and samsung can design everything they wanted to. but what about nokia?=D

LG is crap, hopefully Prada will be be able to pump some quality into it. It does look nice in the pictures though.
